Great Cover!
I am a teacher, and my classroom has a call button to the office. I got tired of students hitting it with their backpacks as they walked out of the room. This cover solves that problem and looks so much nicer than a box on a command strip. The hardest part of this install was prying this button off the wall so I could feed it through the back of the cover. 10/10 will be ordering this for any classroom I move into in the future!

Perfect fit on Chamberlain opener
Got this to cover my garage door opener so people wouldn’t hit the button while the doors slide lock is in place. Fit perfectly and now when the cover is down everyone knows it means the door is locked. Only downside is the cover doesn’t stay open on it’s own because of how it’s hinged so it always down unless you prop it open. I used a spring, the clasp is stong enough to overpower the spring and keep the cover closed when needed.

button blocker
I installed this in a hospital operating room to block a Code Blue button that was getting pressed inadvertantly. This acrylic cover works great and still gives access incase of an emergency. Plus easy to clean.I had to modify the plate of the switch slightly to fit, but over all very happy with this piece.

Perfect for covering a panic button
So in our new apartment there is a terrible, terrible button on the wall.We were not warned about the terrible, terrible button. My best friend found out that if you press it, it emits a nerve-shearing SCREAM for about 5 minutes. It does not call the police. It does not call the security company. It just screams.Well, having a crouching beast like that in one's bedroom when one is extremely sensitive to loud high-pitched noise is, as you can imagine, Totally And Completely Unacceptable. We called the leasing office.'Oh,' they said, 'most people just put some tape over it.'Some tape.SOME TAPE???WELL! After a lot of measuring and looking, I found this little guy to screw over it, just to give us some peace of mind about the terrible, terrible button NEVER being pressed accidentally again. It fit perfectly, even though the whole thing had been painted over thickly (you know how apartments are), and now there is a Shame Prison around the terrible, terrible button; and now my friend and I do not ever worry about the terrible, terrible button making that horrid SCREAM ever again.

Too easy to open
I am a special education teacher and I have a button on my wall that calls the office. I have a student who pushed that button many times everyday. I bought this to stop him. It does slow him down so that sometimes we can catch him or block him but it does not stop him. He is able to easily open this and still pushes the button every day. That is just my personal experience. Maybe it will work for what others need it for. Although I don't know how. It's pretty easy to open so it will not be able to block most people from opening it. You just need to be able to give a firm tug on the bottom and it opens so I don't know what it would be used for.It is the size of a single American light switch panel. To install it you need to unscrew the lightswitch panel at the top and bottom. This fits right over the panel and you line up the holes in this with the screw holes then screw the screws back in to attach it to the wall. It's pretty easy to install.

Perfect to cover the electronic button that controls the slide in our camper
The button that controls the slide in our camper is directly below the light switch as you walk in the door. This has caused "little fingers" to easily be able to push the button. If the slide is already out and the button is consistently pushed, it burns up the slide motor (it happened to us) which is not a cheap or easy fix. This cover works perfectly!! Since you must raise the cover up to push the button, this will rule out anyone saying "it was an accident". If you have a camper with a slide, I highly recommend placing a cover over the button.

Doesn't fit
The product seems like good quality but it doesn't fit the installation points and we realize it's past the time frame to return the product.
