Great bottle!
I love this thing! I tried to find a good 20-or-so ounce water bottle for a long time and all of them would leak like crazy or break. The most important feature of a good water bottle for me is that it's leak proof and easy to drink out of. I previously had a camelback eddy bottle, which drove me nuts because the straw wouldn't stay down and it wasn't leak proof. However, 99 percent of the time, this bottle won't leak. Occassionally, if I fill the bottle from the drinking spout instead of unscrewing the entire lid, water gets caught in the threads somehow and it will leak a little but that's not enough to bother me; I just have to remember to unscrew the whole lid when filling. The bottle is insulated and will keep my water relatively cold. I've left it in hot cars and in the sun before and the water inside was still cold, much colder than my sister's plastic bottle, though I haven't tested it with ice or for many hours. The lid but not the bottle is dishwasher safe but even if you wanted to wash the lid by hand it's really easy. The cap on the drinking spout isn't quite as easy to get off as it claims, but it only takes two twists instead of one and it still is easy. It was slightly easier to drink from the Eddy bottle, I'll admit, because of the straw, but I prefer the spout because of the aforementioned leakproofness. The design of the lid also allows it to be easily clipped to most anything and it will fit in most cupholders. It holds a decent amount of water without being too big to carry around. This thing hangs out with me no matter what I'm doing, from sitting at work to driving around to traveling the world.

The best bottle yet.
Finally a bottle that works. I have had a few camelbak bottles, seems they finally have a winner. The ones with the bite valves and straws are a pain to clean and the vent always seems like a yuck trap, the plastic ones don't insulate and despite being BPA free I never trusted them, and the old podium bottles just did not work well for me. This one however is awesome, no funky vents to clean, no straws to loose, it doesn't leak and will keep ice colder than I have ever been able to measure (though I have heard it can keep ice for a day and I don't doubt it). Plus it is stainless and fits in my car's cupholder. If there is one minor complaint, the white lid seal can be fiddly if I need to get it out for cleaning. Unless they can find a way to give it free refills I don't think I can ask for more.

Great vacuum bottle!
Great product. Coming from the insulated (not vacuum) Eddy plastic bottle, this is a big step up. Keeps my iced water super cold for a long time. Doesn't sweat at all, unlike the Eddy which sweats at the top. It's much heavier than the plastic versions, obviously.Notes: The Pacific blue in the Amazon photos is very much too blue. It is more like a dark teal. Much cheaper than a Yeti bottle. Amazon has it for a great price as of the posting of this review. I'd buy another one if I had room to store it. Made in China.Pros: Stainless steel, vacuum insulated. Keeps my drink cold for a long time. No metallic aftertaste (to me). The colored grip surface is nice. It is not rubber, but textured paint. Rubberized lid and cap are nice to grip.Cons: The Camelbak plastic Chute and plastic Eddy bottle lids do not fit. Neither does the Capcap. I have seen in reviews of other Chute bottles (plastic version) that the tether for the cap can break after a few months. I just ended up removing mine so I have the cap detached from the lid. It can still stow and is much easier to stow too. Slightly magnetic, tested with my strongest hard drive magnet.

My favorite bottle — perfect insulation and easy casual drinking
This is hands-down the best water bottle I've ever had. I've been using it for almost a year and a half now and it's shown no real signs of wearing down. The insides (particularly the threads where the cap screws on, where mold tries to accumulate) are very easy to clean. Any water I put in it stays cold for hours. After many drops, the bottom is a bit scuffed up, but it has never broken or shattered like a glass water bottle would. I rarely use the cap lock feature; when I drink, I just hold back the cap using the two plastic connectors with my index finger. The downsides as I see them are: 1) the bottle is pretty heavy, and not suited for light travel, and 2) the base is too thick to fit in many car cupholders. However, for everyday use at a desk or in a bag, it's perfect.

Great Company, great product
This review has three parts:-. First: I received the bottle from Amazon and was very disappointed because it leaked from the neck, I checked the cap and it was missing the silicone gasket.-. Second: Before returning it to Amazon, I have decided to visit the warranty section of Camelback webpage. I was surprised that after five simple selection questions the sixth was my address, and two weeks later I was receiving my new and complete cap, ending the leak problem. A great company that stands behind its products.-. Third: the product itself, I can only rate the bottle five stars. I live in an area where the ambient temperature rounds the 100's and with little ice, it easily keeps the water chilled for a full 24h day, is very comfortable to dink from, good grip, cero condensing. Exactly what a good insulated water bottle should be.Note: finding out that Camelback had such great service I have decided to write them because I had a “Better Bottle” (discontinued product) with a broken cap. I received their answer in two days with the solution to get a replacement warranty cap. I wish all companies would have such great support.

Keeps drinks cold, but leaks due to flimsy seal
The bottle definitely keeps iced drinks cool for a good long while, but the flimsy soft seal inside the cap gets easily twisted or pinched resulting in leaks. Even worse the seal comes out every time I twist open the cap. Need a toothpick to push it back in. This bottle should have come with a firmer seal and extra seals. Also, my bottle was delivered dented on the bottom, not from shipping, but probably from the distribution factory. The plastic grip around the base is not cushiony.
