I Love My Dad: English Farsi Persian Bilingual Book (English Farsi Bilingual Collection)

Our little daughter loves this book for its story and the tickling phase. She's in a hurry to get to the tickling part (to get tickled herself, too) even though she likes the whole story. I'm really glad that there are already many bunny books by the same writer and illustrators. We have liked all that we have read by now and are about to get all of those available. This book works for us even though I translate the English as I read, since it's not a family language for us. The text is big enough and with spaces to do it without too much hesitation. The illustrations are lovely as well.

Wonderful book

I bought this book hoping my child who is born and raised outside of Iran would finally have a Farsi book to be read to. The children Farsi books are almost non existent out there and it pains me to write this negative review, because I want to support the initiative...but this book is terrible. The story is too wordy, both in English and Farsi. The farsi translation is a lazy translation of the English text which is boring to read even to adults. My child is fond of books and loves to be read to all day, but this book bores him in the very first page. Also, what is the point of having so much text in two different languages all squeezed in one page? What is the child supposed to get out of this? It opens from left as well, which is so counter intuitive for introducing them to Farsi writing system. I regret buying this book, and for such a high price too.
