Use for rehab
I was using a similar model at my physical therapist's office (rehab for a broken arm bone at the wrist). I do push-ups on this and bounce a one-pound medicine ball off of it. The only part you need to install when it arrives is the large upright handle. Trickiest part is putting the screws in. If you have a rachet wrench big enough, I suggest you use that instead of the hand-held rachets that the manufacturer supplies; will go faster for you. Other than that, the rebounder is sturdy. Makes some noise when I bounce the ball off of it, but no big deal.

This is not at all like the one at the gym or at the Physical ...
Not heavy enough, so it slides across floor as others described. So it will need to be backed up to a wall or such. The most irritating aspect is that it is VERY loud, even on rubber mat and doubled wool Persian rug. This is not at all like the one at the gym or at the Physical Therapy center. It's all metal except for plastic knob to set angle... and the plastic knob arrived broken (there was no visible packing to protected it. Too heavy for me to attempt return. It does still function with the broken part. If I had to do it again, I would buy different brand, (and spend a little more money). It's a nice price, but it's so loud with every bounce, it's just not worth it.

Exactly as I expected
I used this in physical therapy for core and balance. It is exactly as I expected. It must be braced because it does move especially when using the weighted balls. But is great to use as you get older and are working on your balance.

Works for me!
Definitely not gym quality, it can't handle my 10 lb ball but works great with a 6 lb.ball! It is a little noisy and you have to put it up against something and weigh it down, I used rocks!! I Don't regret buying this so far I am just glad I got it on sale! Definitely not worth $300!
