Once I became a mom, I stopped liking to tie my shoes. I was always running late, and didn't want to bother. I know the style is to have all white kicks, but I tend toward the messy, so I prefer black. These are comfy, look cool. It's funny, this style has been around forever, but people still ask me how they stay on. They do run large, but that's how Converse are. I typically wear a 6.5-7 women's, and I got these in the men's 4.5. They fit fine. I typically wear them with ankle socks or peds. Since I tend to be messy, I clean the rubber white parts with a non-ammonia cleanser, and they hold up well.

Schon James Dean lief in diesen Gummi-Trettern in seinen berühmten Filmen rum, und auch Natalie Portman liebt diese Schuhe. Letztens habe ich Fotos von den Beatles gesehen (Photo-Session 1969) und George Harrison hat die Jack Purcell in weiss. Jack (John Edward) Purcell war ein kanadischer Badminton-Weltmeister und designte diese Badminton-Schuhe 1935 mit der Firma B.F. Goodrich Rubber Company of Canada, die auch Autoreifen, Wärmflaschen und Gummihandschuhe produzierte. Ca. 1970 kaufte die Firma Converse Rubber Company die Rechte an den Schuhen. Ich finde die Jack Purcell Schuhe qualitativ besser (auch die Schnürsenkel!) und bequemer als z.B. die Converse Chucks Ox. Außerdem haben sie herausnehmbare orthopädische Innensohlen. Das genoppte Gummidesign vorne auf der Zehenkappe ist Geschmacksache!

Wow I love these! They are bigger then normal tho normally a size 10.5 or 10 in DC high tops or running shoes ect.. but these I bought the 9.5 but I think I actually shud have went with the 9 . It size asside they are super sexy sneaks n looks great in the summer and fell comfortable as well .

Hey, pretty sure they are just sending out whatever they have, I love the shoes, had 2 pairs in the past and wanted to buy it again. First they don't copy the full address on the package so I have to go pick it up, and then it's the wrong size, EU 42 instead of 40, twice in a row. Don't ordere it here
