I bought a larger size from Franklin Lade almost three years ago and they still look new. I'll be buying other sizes from this range in the near future.Love them!

These dishes are of very high quality and came superbly packaged, just a shame that they were made in China, like everything else these days!

In my eyes this is the perfect size and shape for what I need. I ended up getting two sets!

In the past, I encountered glass food containers which lids are impossible to remove from the food containers immediately after taking the food containers out of the fridge. Even after I then left them in room temperature for many minutes, the lids were still incredibly difficult to remove from the containers. However, this Franklin Lade glass food container does not have this problem at all. After I have stored these Franklin Lade glass food containers in a fridge for a very long time, after I have removed them from the fridge, I can remove their lids from them immediately effortlessly. In addition, the lids can be put back on to the food containers and be closed effortlessly. Super impressed.Also these Franklin Lade glass food containers look expensive and nice. They were delivered very clean. They were delivered very well-packaged. Every individual of the containers was packaged thoroughly.

These are sturdy, and do not leak when you shake them or are left on their side. The seals are thick and do their job, and I received 3 spare seals in the box which is a great idea if you don’t like the colour of the originals, or you misplace one.The glass is thick and smooth with no sharp ridges, like you sometimes get with this type of glass.They are a useful size - just right for one meal, or for example, two large portions of bolognese sauce.There are a few small down sides however. After a few months the silver writing on the lid is half rubbed off, so it doesn’t look as smart. Also although the lid is well made and the plastic thick and sturdy, sometimes it’s awkward to get it back on the glass bowl, and click the lid back down. You have to fiddle with it for a bit as sometimes as the grooves do not seem to want to meet up.I would also prefer the seals to be made of more attractive brighter colours- but that is just because I don’t like burgundy or navy, so is just a personal thing.These are a good quality product, and if these few quibbles were ironed out, would be excellent.

Great storage containers which close properly and stack easily in cupboard and freezer. Bonus!

I've used these for a couple of weeks now, must say I am very impressed. Great size for leftovers to store in fridge and take to work for lunches. Washes up well (used work dishwasher for glass bowl, not put lid in dishwasher as nervous but sure is fine!) Love how it doesn't stain (like the plastic ones do) and feels very sturdy without being so tight you struggle to get lid on or off. Feel like these will last a very long time and won't be just thrown away in years time like other plastic version. They come with spare plastic rims in different (maroon) colour, though not sure is necessary and possibly wasteful. As other ppl have said also came wrapped in quite lot of plastic, which sort of defeats the purpose of getting these! V highly recommended ☺️

We dropped and broke some of these accidentally. I emailed them to ask if it were possible to buy replacement containers only, as we still had the lids. They were enormously helpful and replaced the entire container free of charge, despite the damage having been our fault.
