The box itself is decent enough. Hinges a little flimsy but will work for light packing of things. My biggest problem is the brown colour is TOTALLY wrong! The colour on the ad looks more mahogany than brown. The colour of the actual product is a baby room brown. Looks like a children’s box rather than something I can use as display pieces in the living room. Very disappointed.Have been sent replacements however two replacements that do not match/of the same type and two different colours and the one is damaged on the corner. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. Do not purchase from this supplier as they cannot get the basics right.

I searched for hours before settling on this box as it was just the right size and I could paint it and decorate it any way I saw fit to do so. However, even though the packaging was complete and sealed, one of the hinges on the box had pulled the wood away from the back of the box, so any opening or shutting of the box would eventually lead to the hinge separating from the box completely. Considering the price I paid for it, I was certainly expecting something a little more hard wearing and not fragile and flimsy. Even worse, I can’t afford to pay the return on such a large item and then wait weeks for a refund when I need a replacement box NOW.0/10 would not recommend, look elsewhere.

This is a lovely looking box. I bought it as a “holiday home” for our baby tortoise when we are visiting friends and family so probably not for the purpose most people buy it for. It looks good but one of the (very lightweight) hinges came loose the first time we used it. This is not a problem as we don’t want the lid closed anyway and it did slot back in after a few attempts but is not secure.

I have an unsightly UPS with numerous cables plugged in and wires going to it. Drilled a large hole in the back of it, and it's just perfect to tidy the cables away.Would recommend sanding and varnishing it as it's unfinished, but no complaints at the price.

I bought this box to decorate as a toy box for my 9 year old grandson but when I lifted the lid back the hinges split the wood. I should have returned it but persevered and ended up buying new hinges and extra strips of wood to reinforce the box. I certainly would not recommend this.

The box is fine, exactly as described.I opted for the white painted version (I know I could have painted it myself but I'd have to go buy paint and brushes!), the outside finish is perfectly fine but there are some quite sharp bits on the inside, possibly where the paint are dried in a ridge and I've had to sand them down as they feel almost like a nail point.As this is going to be used purely as a memory box I'm not too worried about capacity but I'd say that for any other use it's not huge.

Like:- quick delivery BUT no time frame for delivery. Can’t stay home from 08:00 to 21:00Dislike:- wood very rough.No strap (like the one in photo) to keep the lid from opening too Far. See what they’ll do about that!!!

The hinges on this box came loose and broke about a day after purchase. Not good quality. Wouldn’t buy any of their products again.
