Great lamp. I like that you can controller the brightness and also the color of the light all with the included remote. Note that the 4 AAA batteries aren't included. My only gripe is that this lamp won't work with a switch on your wall if you plug it into a plug that's controlled by a wall switch. You need to turn on the lamp by touching the ON button on the lamp or using the remote.

I wish the legs were a little bit lower to fit under my sofa, but this lamp is exactly what I needed. LED light isn't always my favorite but this is a very soft light. It's not going to brighten a room, but for the one corner of my living room that stays too dark to even do the crossword puzzle at night, it's perfect.

I bought the light because it had a remote, the light is ok if you want to light a small area. You can only use it as up lighting or back lighting on the brightest setting because the light bothers my eyes if you see the front of the fixture, if you set in on the lowest setting and still see the face of the light it does not hurt my eyes but the low setting is too low to use for reading. The light does not swivel, you have to rotate the entire light and stand to turn it left or right, if you try to swivel the head you will loosen the threads on the main stem. The light will rotate up and down. I would not buy another one of these lights.

Easy enough to assemble. SURPRISE: you can't change the lamp, or use a full size 40-80w lamp; there's a small lamp preinstalled behind the filter/screen. Unit is shorter than expected, and not as stout. However, it's sturdy. The wiring is a little bit annoying: once all said and assembled, it's stiff and wrangled where visible which makes the unit look cheap. The remote is out of range beyond 5-6 ft from the light!!! You cannot connect this unit to a switch controlled socket -- once you switch off the power, you'll have to manually turn the unit back on. The buttons are counter intuitive: there's +/- buttons which control brightness and a power button which you would think turns the unit on and off -- WRONG! The power button switches between yellow and white light. Also, the buttons are totally flat and you'll have no idea when you're actually pressing them, and that's not helped by the fact that all 3 buttons are occasionally unresponsive. Annoying! Worst of all: you have to unplug it, or use the remote to turn it off. My bed is too far away and the remote is out of range! WTF!

This lamp gives off very good light for reading. You can adjust the brightness and temperature of the light, so there is a lot of variety for preference. The remote and timer is a nice addition. I also really enjoy the convenience of the on switch that is located on the top of the bulb. It was easy to assemble but extremely lightweight. I also didn't care for how far the legs extended (about 6" in each direction), but made it work for where I was wanting it to stand. Good lamp for the price.

I ordered one to try out for task lighting. The unit went together easily but would not light. I contacted the seller who gave me some tips to try but still only darkness. They sent me a second light free and no need to send back the first. Second light works great. The remote takes a little getting used to and the instructions for it are written in "chinglish" but everything functions. My wife liked it enough for me to order an additional light, which worked just as well. I give it 4 1/2 stars, instructions could be improved, but the light works well and the seller stood behind it.

Great light, wish I would have bought one sooner, may have to get another one or two, the different color Temps work out great, the dimmable light also great, the timer is a nice feature as well as the remote would recommend to anyone and may buy again, simple to put together and sturdy

I give this lamp 3 stars because while it does have 4 brightness settings, it's actually more like 2. The first setting is super dim - not really enough to read by, even if your chair is right below the lamp. The next level (level 2) is super bright - a huge step up from level 1 brightness, and lights up the whole room. Levels 3 and 4 are just marginally brighter than the levels preceding them. So level 1 is dim, level 2 super bright, level 3 super bright, level 4 super bright. The lamp is a bit sterile and austere looking, but I'm the utilitarian type so I don't mind. It's the lack of more brightness levels between 1 and 2 that make the lamp useless for me. I plan to get rid of it and purchase something else.

Bought this for the functionality of the wireless remote. Unfortunately the wireless remote only works if it is pointed directly at the back of the lamp head.

nice unobtrusive effective lighting.

This was the best lamp At first. I am disabled so the remote control is perfect. However, six days after my return window closed, the lamp light is now shaky all the time.

Wonderful product and the customer service is second to none. I had an issue with my lamp that was MY FAULT.

Needed something behind a new sectional and this was it. The legs are not as shown in the picture but still worked behind the recliner and hope chest beside it.

Initially rated this five stars with the comments “nice for reading light but not as a room light.” Now after nine months is stopped working.

I put this lamp behind my bed and can use it on the low setting for mood lighting or on bright for reading.
