Based on the films but book knowledge helps
Absolutely awesome! I already have the mini game, basically a triangle wedge box with question cards. This however, is a truly ultimate version with a Hogwarts game board, a dice tower and 1800 questions, along with the obligatory wedges and wedge holders. I am so excited!! 😊 ❤️

If you're the world's biggest HP fan, then this is for you
If you think you know and love Harry Potter, think again. This game is only for people who have read the books about 20 times each and have memorised everything in those books. Definitely not for fans who think they know Harry Potter because they've seen the films 20 times. Definitely for die-hard fans. Played with 18 and 16 year old and they gave up in frustration as questions were ridiculously hard. Such a shame as I wanted it to be our new best Christmas game. Impossibly difficult.

Great game, too easy if you are a bit HP mad!
Great game. Only based on the movies but we know that in advance.Having watched the films MANY times, read the books MANY times and listened to the audio books MANY times we know Harry Potter pretty well, as a result this was too easy, first game resulted in me getting 3 wedges on my first turn!If you are not completely obsessed with HP then this would be an enjoyable game, for us it results in annoyance as the husband is not an expert and is more of a spectator when we play!

9 3/4 out of 10
Such a fun game for fans. Lots of questions to keep the family entertained. The only quibble I have is aesthetic and it is that the pieces do not match the colours on the board which i find annoying; they are of a differing shade from the same palette.

Good game for HP experts - not really for kids
I bought this for my young granddaughter who is 9. I expected it to be tricky but even with my pretty good knowledge of HP and having read the books and seen the films I found the game hard going. I appreciate you do not want it to be too easy but perhaps having a set of cards that have some pretty simple answers or multiple answers so you guess would be better for children. So ok you are a real HP geek but not really a general game for young aspiring wizards.
