Addis513830 Sink Caddy, White/Grass Green

Just what I wanted. Use for storing washing up kit under the sink till it's needed. Holds wash-up liquid (625ml),2 sponge scourers, metal scourer, wash brush, bottle brush, & dishcloth. The handle can fold down, but I keep it up & hang dishcloth on it to dry out. The middle section is removable if you don't want it. In the bottom is a removable draining tray, so any water goes through & your things dont sit in the wet.Plastic, so easy to clean, but you dont have to empty it all out to get rid of excess water, there are holes in the side as well, so you can just tilt it over the sink.

Addis products are normally excellent, but this drainer is ridiculous. The only drainage holes are NOT on the base, but along one side, so either your cutlery is sitting in water or you have to keep tipping it to empty it. This usually means that the cutlery crashes into the sink. There is a perforated liner on the base, presumably to keep the cutlery out of the water--this wouldn't be needed if the drain holes were in the proper place! Anyway, this tilts, unless you take trouble to stack the cutlery evenly and consequently is useless.The handle is large enough to get in the way in a small middle sink. Wish I hadn't bought it.

This product is too small to be useful, it may hold a sponge or something you can find related to your sink that is tiny but other than that any irregular shaped items like hand wash, washing up liquid will not fit in. If like me you though oh I will find some other use.....unfortunately the caddy is too small and odd shaped at the bottom. The dividers are equally as strange in proportion and don’t allow for anything useful to be stored.But Don’t be put off because....That being said if the shape is right for you don’t let this review put you off, the quality was very good as was the drain at the bottom to keep your products dry and out of the way of harmful bacteria. Has a non slip bottom, sturdy and looks really nice. The insert is sturdy and (could be to someone) very helpful for storing small things or using as a cutlery drainer if push comes to shove. For the price if it suits you it’s worth purchasing as the quality is excellent and it looks really smart.

The Addis Sink Caddy is not huge but it’s large enough to fit a small to medium size washing up liquid, hand wash and your utensils such as knifes, forks and spoons. Catches the water from the wet utensils. And is easy to drain the excess water and to clean. If you choose not to add your hand wash or washing up liquid to the Addis Sink Caddy. Then it can hold quite a lot of utensils including large spoons used for cooking bigger dishes. It’s reasonable priced, sturdy and good quality for money. So I definitely recommend this item!!

This is a good size and I like the fact the middle section can be moved along to create larger space at either end. Easy to clean. It did not get 5 stars because the drainage holes are on the side, you have to get a centimetre of water in it before it would naturally run out. Ideally some drainage should be on the bottom as you have to remind yourself to tip it up to empty the water collected. Secondly it's not heavy enough to stop tipping over if certain more robust utensils go in it. And, the adjustable middle section should click into place to prevent it being dislodged.
