Being a dog trainer, I've had the opportunity to use just about every type of 'no pull' device on the market. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this harness/leash!!Very simple design. Easy to put on & take off. (Once you have had 'hands on' & understand how it works.)Nice & FLEXIBLE. (Moves with your dog). Very SOFT SURFACE that does NOT RUB, WEAR HAIR OFF, cause SORES & CHAFING.If you follow the directions & have this properly fitted, it's SUPERB!!I was not very sure how well this harness would work. Very skeptical about whether it would stay in place & not slip off the chest/rib cage. Decided to try it because of the many, really positive reviews (VERIFIED PURCHASES!)I wasn't disappointed!! When fitted properly on your dog, it's AWESOME!It's important to know that this doesn't fit around the neck like a collar. Adjusting the black stops so that it's seated farther down from the neck, more on the shoulder/chest area & it truly does work like a charm!!I just got a 5 mo. old Black & Tan Coon Hound mix about 2 weeks ago. He has not learned any 'leash etiquette' yet! Being a 'hound', he loves to follow his nose.When dogs get into a behavior that's been bred into & hardwired in their brains for YEARS, they go into 'limbic' mode. They get SO INTO that behavior, that they truly do not hear or see anything else. They leave the 'thinking/learning' part of their brain behind.My puppy is 5 months old & he's been following his nose all that time. I needed something to get his attention. Most harnesses just don't do that. Especially the type of harness that attaches the leash to the front of the chest. All that does is pull them off balance for a minute & then they pull harder! Those types of harnesses work very well for some dogs, but not all.It's really hard to get the attention of a dog thats SO INTO their instinctual behaviors!!This harness works BEAUTIFULLY for that!!As soon as I received this from Amazon, I put it on my boy & we went for a walk. He's not always constantly pulling. He does quite well for not having any leash training. But as soon as we go by a scent that catches his attention, them he pulls, HARD! It's REALLY HARD to get his attention back on me & the walk.The pressure from the harness GOT HIS ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY!I was quite suprised that this worked SO QUICKLY & SO WELL!It's not a CURE for pulling, but it DOES get their attention, REALLY WELL!It makes it so much easier to TRAIN them when you can get their attention!!One important thing to keep in mind, you should never expect perfection from your dog or puppy.Dog breeds have been bred for specific purposes for HUNDREDS of YEARS!! Each dog is different. Two pups from the same litter can have completely different levels of instinctual behavior. One might have a very high 'drive', while the other may not have much at all.It's SO VERY IMPORTANT for dogs to experience those things.I have a hound breed that LOVES to follow his nose. I'm teaching him that it's not appropriate for him to do that when he's 'on leash'...but I make sure that he has plenty of 'off leash' time.A dog that gets enough exercise & time to practice those natural instincts, is going to be a much, much more content.A content, happy dog is much easier to train & is much more apt to want to please you. That deepens you & your dogs relationship & makes for a happy home!!

I followed the directions on the card that was attached, and also watched the video beforehand. It was easy to put on, but even so I fiddled with it for about the first block of our walk until I was certain it was adjusted perfectly.This is the best harness ever made! I really wish I had discovered it 6 years ago! We have a soft coated Wheaten Terrier, and they are well known as "ground hunters". They chase and hunt down every critter moving on the ground. Walking him can be deadly, they are strong and determined to "get their man". I am sorry to say that we used to have a pincher collar to control him. It was the worse thing we could have done to him. That collar would repeatedly pinch and squeeze his neck, but he didn't care and we were dumb enough to listen to a friend who told us they were perfectly Okay. Even wearing it he would still fight hard to pursue his mark...until we discovered that we had damaged his thyroid because of it. We were devastated by this. But, we acted quickly and the vet got him on meds and he has fully recovered.That being the case, it was so important to us to not have a lead that in any way tightened around his neck. This lead is perfect! Our dog loves it and we love it. He has become very obedient, and even when he wants to chase a critter, he stops easily, respects and listens to our commands. Thank you so much!We had no idea that the old collar we had been using was so harmful to him. But, are so grateful to have found such an easy harness lead to use. Thank you for making such silky soft material that never harms his neck in any way. It is very easy to walk him and we are enjoying the walks now as much as he does.

Tried to jump over a fence, turned into a noose when it got stuck.

After a couple weeks of use, I can say that this is the first collar or harness that my escape-artist dog can't wiggle out of! In seven years I've tried all different kinds of collars and harnesses for her and she could always escape no matter how things were adjusted. She's about 60 pounds so I got the larger size. I just think she also has no desire to get out of this harness lead, because it's so comfortable. Unlike every other harness on the market, there are no sharp edges and big bulky buckles cutting into her! It's like the softest, silkiest boatline and very well made. It goes on much faster than traditional harness designs, and she seems much happier and relaxed walking in it. It would be perfect if the line was a couple feet longer, but it's so wonderful as it is that we're willing to deal with the shorter length - the 'leash' section extends about five feet from her shoulders. And I'm not constantly stopping her to readjust her harness position, because it stays where it should be while she walks!

I have a very energetic German Shepherd/Lab mix who, at just 4 months old, already weighs 50lbs. He does tend to pull on his leash and is very powerful. I've had three harnesses in the past that all promised to be comfortable, escape proof, and could help stop tugging, but he managed to escape all of them and tended to chew on the leashes. This harness lead just arrived and we went ahead and tested it out -- to my surprise, there was limited pulling and no chewing at the leash! That was the calmest walk EVER. I will never buy another leash ever again. This harness is super soft, very easy to properly fit, and adjustable. I'll definitely be buying this product again when the one I have wears out.

I ordered one of these for my retriever who tends to lead me and go where he feels like going. There is a notable difference in his pulling while using this lead but he is a strong dog and will still pull if he really wants to. That said, its a night and day difference VS using a harness and a leash. As the instructions tell you, it is critically important to set this up correctly on the dog to ensure it is tightening where intended and also that it is not used for correction. Let the lead do that for you. The quality to cost could be a bit better in my opinion, but the effectiveness outweighs those concerns. All in, great tool to have. Would recommend.

Works with my dog exceptionally. The best leash, soft for the hands and the dog. Medium size is a little long, but he stopped pulling.

Works as designed. Some hard plastic material was poking out of the leash which I had to cut otherwise it would poke my hand when holding the leash.

Haven’t used it yet I’m sure it will do its job, very well made. 😃
