I rated this bulb only as 3 stars for longevity, since it's only been installed for one week, and I have no idea how long the life cycle will be. The original bulb worked for over 10 years before failing because it was used in half bathroom that's only occasionally used.

I was expecting a brighter light. It is a warm low light, not a bright white light..

Something wrong with this latest batch of bulbs!! I have ordered and used these bulbs three times. First two times all went well, but these last bulbs are defective. I had an electrician come take a look since I figured that there was something wrong with the fixtures and not the bulbs. Turns out the bulbs are bad. They burn super hot (charred the fixture where the bulb is close to the backing) and provide the light you would get from a 20 watt bulb. I believe they are dangerous. Too much time has gone by to bother with returning them, but IF I ever try getting these again, I would test them right away!! Electricity/Bad bulbs are nothing to play with. Proceed with caution if you order these bulbs from this supplier.

worked for what it was supposed to. Replaced bulbs that were 300 and 500 watt that was in a fixture that was limited to 150 watts each side. I didn't like the yellowish tint to the light; but it was described as "warm white" so that's on me.

One of these bulbs fit perfectly into the housing. The other, however, was about 2/8" longer and did not fit.

Fits my lamp perfectly and I would use again.

paid for same day delivery. received it the next day, well over 24 hours when ordered. The bulbs emit a hazy, dim yellow light. it says it is a 100 w but it is markedly dimmer than the previous bulb.

I bought these lights to replace a 100W halogen which burned out on my kitchen ceiling fixture which also was on a dimmer switch. I put this bulb in to replace it. When I first turned on the light, I thought something was wrong with my eyes for a couple of seconds, then I realized it wasn't me, it was the bulb. This bulb was much dimmer and yellower than the light I was replacing. Not what I'm used to and not what I like. It made things a little harder to see and added a little more strain to your eyes. I immediately replaced it with a Satco bulb which I had also purchased. What a world of difference that made. I will never buy this Light Spectrum Enterprises brand again but I will save the bulbs for use in a dire emergency when nothing else is available. I gave two stars instead of one because it did work and provide some light even though it was very poor quality.
