Mishimoto MMTS-WRX-15 Racing Thermostat Compatible With Subaru WRX 2015+ Silver

First, you should upgrade your stock radiator to a larger aftermarket radiator to really make this product worth a noticeable difference. If you just change this Mishimoto thermostat, all you're doing is prolonging the max temperature range. This thermostat only allows your engine to cool earlier, but not does not cool faster nor does it make your engine run cooler. You'll need to replace your stock radiator to a much large one to run cooler. Where I live, it gets around 98°F~101°F from May to Oct, with humidity above 70% on average. Overall product works great, fits like a glove, installation on an Subaru FA20 engine could be easier, but well worth it. Coupled with a larger radiator, my car now runs around 179°F ~ 186°F on average (was 199°F ~ 204°F) , and stays below 220°F even when I'm hauling a$$! Love it!

This is the 3rd out 5 products that I have purchased and has failed within a months time. A state they offer a lifetime warranty which most likely they do but what they don't inform you of is you have to pay for shipping of that new replacement product. Which in my mind doesn't make any sense as it's their fault for selling a defective product. Why do I need to pay for their mistakes?!

Installed in my 2016 wrx. Lowered Temps by around 10 degrees. Took about an hour with ramps in my driveway.

This thermostat is garbage. I installed it in my 2016 wrx and in less than 30 days if gentle driving, the internal brass assembly cracked in half. The thermostat NEVER worked as advertised. The temp was either too high or too low. To top it off Mishimoto's customer service is the worst. If you want to risk the motor go for it. Otherwise go OEM.
