Getting harder to find a place to buy brick cheese here in So Cal for my german mom . Christmas day she loves this with summer sausage and stollen . This year we tried buying it from amazon and will continue to through this company on Amazon . Nostalgia is great especially for my mom that is 90 and us as well .

This is a response to my earlier review and in receiving a different brand brick cheese than i ordered. Turns out the replacement cheese was exceptional on my Detroit pizzas and would have no problem in receiving this brand as a replacement.

We made gourmet homemade Mac and cheese! The grandkids were impressed!

Best pan pizza cheese. Gave away one brick that I had over a year but never opened. Never got moldy.

Received my brick cheese and I am so looking forward to using it in pizza or Lasagna!The cheese was warm to the touch upon delivery. Three small ice packs in a foil bag inside a box with a few packing peanuts and the ice packs were completely thawed out and warm to the touch.

My husband is a Pittsburgh native. He grew up eating isaly’s chipped ham and brick cheese sandwiches. Cannot find either in Vegas. This cheese was relatively reasonable considering shipping cost about the same as the cheese. But, it was a treat and a Christmas present so well worth the price.When we first moved to LV, our local Albertsons encouraged customers to make requests for items not sold in the store. Most of us are transplants, of course. I completed the form.. Several days later, I received a phone call from Albertsons. A brick of what cheese, I was asked. No, no, no, the cheese is called brick cheese. So, no…..never got the cheese at Albertsons!

Use it on deep dish pizza. It gets really crisp on the edges. Has a great taste. I think it has more fat than a mozzarella would have.
