NT510 Elite Cannot register product, already registered to someone else!(SOLVED)
It's an ok product, was able to figure out some things with my Chevy trailblazer however, Im unable to register the unit online to update it or install more vehicle software. When I tried it gave me a message saying my unit was already registered, I was unable to create a support ticket through the website so the support for is no real support at all. So yeah... That sucks but for a basic unit it's ok I guess.UPDATE**I had to adjust my original review from 3 stars to 5! Not only did FOXWELL reach out to me they have rectified the issue I was having and also provided me a full refund for the trouble which is not their usual policy. I'm very impressed by their level of customer care and (Lucy) from their customer care department is amazing! With the 12 hour time difference She made sure I was not only satisfied but showed a genuine concern and pride in their product they deserve this update and more stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks FOXWELL!!I will be recommending this company just be sure you do your research on the unit you need as they have several at a incredible price.

Great Scan Tool For The Money !!!
I have hesitated writing this review until after I made repairs to my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. The front magneride struts went bad on my vehicle and I was told I would need to do a "Trim Height Relearn Procedure after I replaced the struts. This scan tool performed great and completed the relearn in a matter of seconds which made me happy since the dealer wanted more to do the same procedure as this scan cost. I like the display on the Foxwell NT510 Elite which is easy to read and operate. If you can operate a iPhone you can operate this scan tool. The only downside I have with this product is the confusion during setup on should I register or do I need to register or is the unit already registered? Some of the instructions contradict themselves but overall it's a great scan tool for a DIY'er like myself.

Programs 2005-ish SSR fobs w Chevrolet download. Oh, and, it's now WiFi.
ssrfanatics lists a couple of scanners that work for programming fobs, but in my case, 5+ salvage titles, '03-'06 large parts, most VINS match -- this really works.Chevrolet data (GM, GMC available free as well), modules, special actions(?), program fobs -- you get an instruction page that says you'll get a prompt to hit the unlock/lock fob buttons simultaneously; you don't, but you do need all the fobs (4 max) ready to be programmed (I assume the previous codes are deleted once you program one fob.) Hit continue, select the first fob on the bottom of the screen (defaults on #4,)wait for the automatic lock cycle, then hold the fob buttons whenever you're ready. Locks will cycle but the fob won't work until the key is pulled, probably as well as the scanner. Select 2nd fob; after the last fob, pull key and scanner and *then* test the fob(s.)Of course a neighbor stopped by while I was in the middle of fob#3, to complain about another neighbor we both hate. Half an hour later I picked up where I left off so you have at least that much time between scanner entries.Scannerless generic workarounds will cycle the locks on my car, won't program the remotes, and I believe the cycle confirms some other command you sent. In my case, SSR/Chevy/GM-style, the command was to have the door locks lock and unlock at will. Several times a trip. Pulling the battery, again, will reset this. This car is such a speed bump I'm happy to see it do something. The '23 version of this scanner was microSD for data programming and updates; this one is WiFi. It's June 22 '25 right now and the latest GM/C/GMC updates were May '25 so that's encouraging.

It will become unusable and then die.
I should have done better research. Lots of people reporting their unit just died, which mine also did, of course outside the minuscule 1 year warranty. The real issue is that just before dying, it became unusable requiring an update. Mine was never online or plugged into a pc, so must have some internal timer. I find it unacceptable to stop working until an update is performed. Also to update you need to install their janky software which I’m sure is loaded with spyware. For what I paid it should have lasted more than 18 months. Will be looking at better options.

Corvette C8 Transmission Flush
I purchased this to do a Transmission Flush per GM's recommendation before changing out my DTC filter. When you first get this, have wifi available and after you plug it in your car, select to update the software. Once updated, all new features are available. There are YouTube videos on how to do the Transmission Flush using this tool. Very easy to use.

Worked great for years - Until random serious malfunction - Issue resolved
I purchased this device in 2019. The device has worked wonders for several years. Can read and troubleshoot a bunch of different car problems. Even was able to program a new key fob for my Chevrolet Cruze. Well worth the money. However, recently I went to troubleshoot my car and device rebooted a few times before showing signs of a serious malfunction.I communicated back and forth with Foxwell customer reps and after several messages it appears the issue will be resolved soon.
