My wife and I have been searching for a coat rail for over a year. Every time I thought I found something for her while we were out shopping l, she would tell me no, that she didn't "love" it. Then we decided to look on Amazon. We went through every single page and my wife kept coming back to this one. For Christmas, I bought her the largest one available and I am glad as it really fits our wall well. The unit is of excellent quality and you can tell that during manufacturing, they took the time to line up the railroad spikes on the wood so that everything looked even and that the spacing was the same. This piece is unique and we get compliments on it every time someone walks through our front door. You will love this piece!

It's very sturdy and looks wonderful in the home. The nails looks slightly greasy when taking it out of the package, but they are not. The only thing that might give you trouble is the heavy smell of the stained wood, but that goes away in a few hours. Ours came with six screws so that it would be firmly mounted on the wall. Our currently holds four jackets, a heavy coat and a pair of work overalls. I do wish that the screws would be a little bit more spaced out, which is why this is four stars and not five.

Great looking! Installation was difficult because all they did was drill four holes in the plank and give you screws. Do you have to line up your holes in the wall perfectly. But now that's it's up, it has been a great addition to my living room!

I love this so much feels like a piece of history to me very awesome. My only complaint is the screws were bit short /small. We put our own in which are gold but still adds a nice touch!

I dont want to tell everyone that this is the coolest coat rack, then everyone would have one.But it is the coolest coat rack, with character.Looks good in our office that we renovated @ an old lumber/railroad yard.

We have hung our ski boots and our backcountry backpacks on this. It looks cool and is super heavy duty. I'm not worried the ski boots will bend the nails. My husband who is 200 lbs did a pull up on the nails and it hung in there!

Great piece, it's very unique. I wish I would've gone a little bit bigger than the 20' size with the 5 hooks but it's definitely usable. I love the railroad ties. We've gotten many compliments on it already!
