3M™ Littmann® Stethoscope Identification Tag, Black, 40007

It fits nicely onto my stethoscope. It looks like it was meant to be there and doesn’t obstruct use or storage like other name tags that stick off to the side. The name plate is a great size, fits small and medium font labels (simply cut the excess around the characters off). I read other reviews that said it doesn’t fit a Cardiology IV but it does! I also saw reviews that said it doesn’t work because the tabs come out where the name plate goes, those reviews are due to user error. If you look at the back of the name tag you can clearly see that you push it straight across rather than in and up through the name plate area.

You can never go wrong with a Littman. Unfortunately I left it at a hospital I worked at & didn’t get it back. Probably better I didn’t want to cause nosocomial infections at my next job. I bought a new one.

Perfect to identify my stethoscope. I have one on an older stethoscope that held up well so decided to order one for my current one. With the old one I used the writeable label, this one I took the engrave-able label to a jeweler and had it engraved with my name/credentials. It looks very nice and seems to be adhering to the plastic well. If it works as well and lasts as long as the one on my old stethoscope I will be very pleased!

I got the wrong one and size and I put it on anyway. Bad mistake. It's very difficult to take off, you gotta really bend the plastic to get the little arms in and out of the frame. So I settled for putting it on my stethoscope crooked. A lot of other commenters complain about the ink smearing on the tag. I don't know what they're talking about because I used a regular old pen (I think?) and it didn't smear. I think you just have to dry it/leave it alone for a bit before putting it in. The sticker stays on too. It's a good product. Just make sure it's the right size before putting it on because you will not get it off once it's on. I guess that's a good thing; it's sturdy.

Bought it for my new stethoscope and someone complimented the look of it. I love that they provided the two stickers as well. Haven't found a good sharpie to keep my initials or name on it as yet but this was definitely a good purchase.

I love how it also came with a metal nameplate as well. You need this if you work in a hospital setting. The theft of my litmann has been prevented by this item many times

It came quickly but I could not figure out how to put it on. I tried to look up a tutorial but could not find one. Including instructions would be helpful.

Moderately the product is ok but Price is higher for this type of quality tag

Works great. It came with two adhesive tags (metal and white). I didn't need the metal tag (didn't have time to get it engraved)... I used a label-maker, so the printing would look nice, and attached it to the white tag. When the label gets faded, it's ready to peel off and replace with a new label.
