While I would never use this for heavy use, for around the house occasionally, it's a great item. Gripping power is superior, and the pull style grip makes it easy to handle. Like all plastic grippers, use it often, and either the tongs break off, or the cable snaps. This model has a rod for actuation, highly unlikely to break. Weak plastic handle though. 36" reach, lets you get that sock that fell behind the washer. Overall a good value.

I like this type of handle on a grabber, with arthritis It’s easier for me to use all my fingers more evenly, and with this grabber it was particularly easy to turn the handle 90° which for me makes it perfect. Even though this one is 36 inches long they do make it shorter, I just prefer the longer one so I don’t find myself bending over the edge of my chair or anything else to reach what I’m trying to get, the longer reach keeps me in a safe more upright and balanced position which for me is always a good thing.Thank you, y’all have a blessed day and be safe

I do a lot of clean up of sticks on my property. If I have to bend over that many times I'll be in a world of hurt. This grabber uses a metal rod to pull the jaws together and appears to be much stronger than most of the other grabbers out there.I tested it on small sticks that were all over my driveway. I could pick up the larger branches easily. But, what impressed me the most was the accuracy of how I was able to pick up small twigs off the pavement. This grabber was nimble enough to pick up the smallest of twigs with ease. This is about to get a lot of use around my place.

It works great then seems to come loose at the handle after a while, but serves the purpose.

So much more pick-up strength than other ones i tried. Love that theres a magnet in the tongs and little longer than others... has never let me down.

This is a perfect tool! I have had one for about a year. The pincher has a textured rubber piece on it, which makes it very easy to grab. There are also magnets in it, which helps with picking up metal objects obviously. The squeezing motion is much more comfortable for me. I think it’s a better ergonomic design than the pistol style. My five-year-old is so jealous of it when we go on trash patrol together that I got him one of his own!

Ordered it July 11, 2024. Broke this week. Took it apart and found that the part that allows the handle to turn 90 degrees and holds it in place afterwards was all plastic and the tab that held the handle from moving had completely broken off. Not sure if it was a bad batch of plastic or poor design but I can't recommend this to anyone.

Absolutely loved it the first day. But the next time I used it I noticed when I squeeze the handle to grip something it would get stuck. Going to try again later .

Not very strong, it broke within 2 weeks of receipt. My request for return sent 16/7/18 was ignored, I have just sent again, 31/7/18.

I looked at a lot of other grabbers before buying this one. It is the best design by far for the grabbing of light objects. It is robust, I have been using it a lot for cleaning the neighborhood in the last few months. I bought this one to replace one with a cable that did not last long. About all of them on the market are with a cable except for the ones for grabbing heavy objects. The only advantage of the ones using a cable is that it needs less effort to grab objects. If you have a lot to do it can be a good option but they don't last.
