Durable, Better gripping over competitors, Worth having at least 1 of these if you need grabbers.
I've used A LOT of these grabbers from tons of different brands. They is actually quite a big variance in quality between different grabbers. This one is pretty good, it's one of my favorites. It has some advantages and disadvantages over others I use or have used. There are 2 main ones that stand out for me. This one and the Jellas one. Both are very good and I recommend buying both (you need a bunch of these things around the house anyway)I'm reviewing this one, but I will compare to the Jellas in this review.Pros.1: it's more sturdily built. It's very sturdily build in fact, compared to other grabbers on the market.2. The grip is more firm and can thus pick up heavier objects than others on the market.Cons.1: it's more expensive.2: The way the handle is, is kind of awkward to squeeze compared to the trigger type of the jellas. Now this does I believe add to some of the firmness of it's gripping ability, but it does make it a little harder to use. That's why I recommend both this one and the Jellas. The Jellas is easier to use, but does not grip quite as good (don't get me wrong, it still grips alright)Ultimately I do recommend it, it's more useful for picking up things the weaker grabbers can't pick up. So I have 1 of these buddy grabbers and a bunch of other cheaper ones, including several Jellas (you need several for different areas of the house, but also because they break kind of easily, you need backups.)

Best Grabber
I keep this on my zero-turn mower with a 5-gallon bucket, it keeps me from having to get off the mower to pick up trash inconsiderate people throw out of their vehicles, (you can't fix stupid, but you can get this and pick up after them). I have three different grabbers, and this is by far the best one.

Use this all the time
Easy to use and works great. Picks up small items. I bought a second one also. One in the laundry to get small items out of a large, deep washing machine, small laundry items, coins, and even pieces of paper from tags and clumps of lint. One used in a pantry for high shelf items. Simple, sturdy, good design, and very functional.

Superior grip
I am very dependent on this tool for retrieving dropped items because I suffer with arthritis in my hands and hips. What I like about this model is the grip. It is easier on my wrists. The previous model that I purchased utilizes a 'pistol' grip of the type used by most of the competition. I find it more difficult to operate with my weak wrists. This model requires much less force to operate. The only problem that I have with this model is that it is about six inches too long. It is a stretch to retrieve objects with my other hand. If the length were adjustable by telescoping it would be much more comfortable to retrieve items after pick up. I am very happy with the tool. It is well made but if it were just a bit shorter I would give it five stars.

Picks up well
Sturdy. Easy grip, tho’ can fatigue your hand with continuous use. Picks up much better than most. We know, this was the third one we tried.

Cheaply made. Broke after only 2 months. Dont wast your money
I bought this because I wasn’t supposed to bent following spinal fusion surgery. I got this one specifically because of the gripping feature that seemed like it would be easier to use given that I have arthritis in my hands. I initially , I was impressed! I had a different type that I got back in 2020 that had a trigger type of handle to squeeze that was horizontal to the pole. It was ok but became very stiff After this surgery I won’t be able to bend for 3 full months so it would have been nice of this had lasted AT LEAST that long. Well, it didn’t. The metal component that goes through the center came unscrewed. Ok, I’ll just screw it back in. Perfect, problem solved… for about 5 minutes after which it broke for goodAfter 2 months and 5 days. Of course, too late to return. I’m getting one that is more heavy duty.

Great…. At First
Absolutely loved it the first day. But the next time I used it I noticed when I squeeze the handle to grip something it would get stuck. Going to try again later .
