Great Price/Performance Strike, especially for light duty retail/commercial use.
This is a light duty, low cost, simply designed door strike. Having used a few different brands and models, for a total of probably 40 units over the last 2 years in high volume retail stores (200+ activations a day) and taken apart numerous malfunctioning units, I can say that the Trine product is reasonably reliable and has a very good cost/performance ratio. the RCI product utilizes a more complex and robust internal design, which is better suited for high volume use, but the RCI 7000 series, at 3x the price of this unit, only makes sense for high volume locations which can not be easily serviced (i.e., if you have a high volume location, and you'd have to drive 100+ miles RT to swap out this unit). So, lower volume and easy to service locations makes this a winner!

Easy install
It is an easy install. However, this is the second unit purchased in less than two years as the first one became defective with an apparent metal fatigue issue.
