Q: This seems like a lot of money for a simple mechanical product. Does the manufacture provide replacement parts, particularly the rollers?

Yes, all the wringer parts are replaceable and the replacement rollers are available on GetPreparedStuff.comIt could be made for a lot less over seas but the wringer is still made here in the USA out of zinc coated thick gauge steel and thick rubber rollers.

To add some experience to the other comment, I will say the wringer works very well with each of the jean legs and will get about as much water possible out of the legs. The waist part of your jeans however, will take some work and won't fit through the wringer as well leaving that part at least a little wetter as compared to the legs. Even so, your jeans will still dry much much faster having been through the wringer than if you had tried to wring them by hand.

Q: What's the minimum gap between rollers??

Because the rollers use a soft rubber material that can be compressed the gap between the rollers isn't absolute. With the thumbscrew on the top fully loose the gap between the rollers would be about 1/4" wide with something being pushed between the rollers. Note: the top roller always rests on the bottom roller with gravity there is nothing to keep them separated other than the material that runs between them. There can also be some shifting letting one side of the roller raise 1/2" with the other side letting the rollers touch.
