This is a really basic product, but it’s pretty genius. It protects counters from hot tools like curling irons, flat irons, etc. I like how it can actually be used to wrap your tools so you can pack them for travel while they are still warm without worrying about if they will damage other items.I think this is a cheap, must-have item for anyone who regularly uses hot hair tools. The white is nice looking and doesn’t stick out on my white vanity top.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this product to use under a coffee heating element. My side tables are made of a very heavy fabric but it would get warm. And this is perfect for that and the fact that it has a neutral color made it nice as well

This mat looks amazing easy to travel with . The thickness is just right and won’t do any harm to your vanity

This helps a lot especially using hot tools to crave your hair and not worrying about if it’s damaging bathroom counter

I got this because I always do my hair last with a straightener and then my family needs to check out of hotels immediately after during travel. Id often carry the straightener separately until it cooled enough to store in my suitcase. But with this, I can wrap it up and store immediately while it's still hot. No part of the heated plate is exposed to anything that could burn. It made me a little nervous the first time I used it as it doesn't roll up the tightest and the little securing loop doesnt loop over super tight either. But once you tuck it into your bag, it's fine and holds up well. I also use it on my bathroom counter now just for some added heat protection

At first feared the size might be too big, but it works very well. The quality is great as well. It perfectly meets my needs.
