I read some negative reviews so was apprehensive about there being parts missing or bolts etc but when I unpacked everything it was all there and everything accounted for so the company must have improved on this. The instructions are clear enough, I built the bed myself and it took about 3 hours as I had to fit the frame onto the gas lift myself but apart from that it was straight forward enough. The bed is lovely and very sturdy I love it. Only slight complaint is it you order the light velvet bed it's not the same colour as the pictures, it's closer to the picture on the Advert showing the measurements but I'm happy enough with it😍😍😍

I ordered this bed after the first one I ordered (different seller) never turned up. I was fuming at the time of ordering but now I’m so relieved my other one never arrived! This bed is gorgeous. It was delivered in 3 days, when they said it would be so I was already impressed!The fabric is so soft and it’s a lovely shade of grey. I was a bit reluctant to build it alone as never built an ottoman bed before (41 year old, petite woman, only ever built flat pack furniture and standard bed frames before) but it took me less than 2 hours and I only needed help when screwing the mattress frame on as needed someone to hold it in place. My only slight (and I mean very slight) disappointment was that the headboard doesn’t look as big as the one in the picture but I do have quite a deep mattress so maybe that’s why. Overall, I can’t fault the bed at all. It’s very sturdy, yet was still moveable once built. I paid £213 on prime day but would happily pay the usual price for it if I had to order another one, it’s still amazing value for money compared to others on the market.

WOULD NOT order this again after checking all parts were there started the build. When got to the side support holes that the screws go into had to cut hole in material to find the holes then saw the inserts were missing that the screws screw into. Had to drive from one d.i.y. shop to another to find something that fits else couldn't have continued building the bed. MY BIGGEST GRIPE THERES NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HELP AVAILABLE. Tried different phone numbers no human to explain to voice changed from UK to American got cut off. Amazon did refund me 10% said that was all they could do. The base cost £225 now up is a nice bed, but don't think was worth the problems.

Easy to follow instructions and assembly, lots of storage under bed, classic linen fabric, lovely button feature on headboard, headboard doesn't look as tall as it does on the supplier's photos but we have got a thicker mattress. Initially struggled with the gas lifts (bed wouldn't go down) checked on Youtube and advised to put equal pressure on both botton corners of the frame until the bed goes down, which solved the problem (need two people to put the pressure on), now opens and closes easily. Smooth delivery from Amazon with regular updates, throughly recommend 👌

**Update 20 February 2024 **DO NOT BUY THISThis bed frame is NOT a true UK King size the mattress will not fit. This bed has totally ruined my brand new mattress and it’s not even a year old.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCTI purchased the King (UK) size bed. The bed is just a bit too short and too narrow so the mattress does not fit. Opening and closing the bed is very hard defeating the whole point of the storage part of the bed. The pull strap provided is too short as well making it hard to access. Pay attention to which bolts you use as the instructions were a bit vague. The bed seems sturdy once together but the side boards are flimsy. You will have to be mindful of where you place items for storage making sure to leave clear space for the support legs of the inner frame to rest on the floor. I can see the possibility of items being crushed by the legs or obstruction of the frame resting flat as there are no ways to prevent or block items from getting under the legs. Don’t make the mistake I did as it will be a costly one. I now how to buy a whole new mattress and bed.

The bed was easy to put together and very solid once built. The main reason for buying was all the extra storage, it certainly delivers on that front. Looks great and I sleep very well on it.

The bed itself is neat, comfortable and feels pretty sturdy. Unfortunately the assembly process was very arduous and frustrating. What seemed quite simple from only 12 or so steps took 3 of us over 3 hours to construct. The instructions were pretty unclear on important details such as orientation for several pieces (which is VERY important and resulted in having to start several steps over more than once) and didn't properly represent some pieces at the very end of construction which thankfully we figured out on our own. A couple of early steps such as assembling the main frame was extremely awkward even for 3 people and some bits required some serious force and wiggling to get them to fit into place. Slats seemed too large to fit together as the instructions suggested but again we managed to get them in place with a bit of creativity but does have me a little worried about whether it will last.Overall a nice bed but a terrible assembly process and I would caution anyone looking at this bed about a difficult time ahead.
