Works extremely well
With the M.2 drive in my desktop pc peaking at 70 degrees, the existing heatsink clearly wasn't cutting the mustard, so was replaced with this. Whilst the fan does operate continuously at one speed, there was no detectable increase in noise levels (the main processor fan creating most), but the temperature nosedived to peaking at just over 50 (idling in the mid-40's). I tend to run HD Sentinel in the System tray to monitor - the portable version works fine, so no install. One area of concern had been the height, but this turned out to not be a problem. Overall, a worthwhile upgrade.

Fan is unnoticeable/quite, works well and dropped temps by -20 C, 2 mins to install
I wasn't sure how it would work and if this suits my pc build. Decided to try and do not regreted after all. Item is small and efficient, super easy to install. Lowered Samsung 970 evo plus temps by -20c which is really great figure. Heavy programs, games, getting no more than 44C, concidering 2080TI and 9900k are surrounding SSD NVME few inches away. I can recomend ICY BOX M.2 Cooler with Fan.

Best nvme cooler
Best nvme cooler temps don't go more then 35,even at few days of operating and moving files, if you get a better thermal pad will improve with a few degrees

Small and effective
This little device has taken 15 degrees off the temp. It looks cool and clearly works.

Can't hear the fan.
Dropped temps of m.2 by half even under load only reach 41c
