Some reviewers stated metal plates either bent or came off completely. If you go toe to heel to remove boots the metal ornaments will not last long. I sit in a chair and use my hands to remove boots, easy and safer, don't cut your hand on sheet metal!

**Q: anyone know if the boys are slip resistant?**
A: im holding my pair ,although they dont say "slip resistant" they are soft rubber on bottom with grip built in. not smooth and polished looking ,like some of my cowboy boots

A: The boots I got have silver ones

**Q: My sneakers size is 7.5   width average.. How to get in size???**
A: Well, these boots tend to run a little bit larger than sneaker sizes, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller and they fit me perfectly. So I would recommend a size 7D, (D is medium width). Hope it works out for you.

**Q: Are they waterproof?**
A: Nothing states that are they are waterproof. And like most leather. No. But have some water resistance. If you plan to wear them during inclimet weather. Look into a waterproofing treatment.
