Immediately upon opening the package, I was initially impressed by the build quality of this product. The arbor holes are accurately cut so that the wheels fit snugly on the arbors, resulting in minimal, if any, runout. The arbors are well made, of good steel, and straight. The leather is thick, high grade tooling leather that is accurately profiled. This assembly ran true, with no vibration, from the very first start up. And then the real magic began. With these strop wheels and the polishing compound you can achieve a mirror like finish on your blade edge. I've never had my knives end up this sharp before with any other system. You can save time by skipping the sharpening steps of the higher grits. This makes the finishing quick and easy. I especially like the second wheel's sharp V profile for stropping the narrower serrations of some of my pocket knives. This is a properly made, high quality tool that is worth the price. You don't see much of that anymore.

If you are serious about keeping your knives and tools sharp and you are on a bit of a budget, these powerstrops are a great bit of kit, are well made and dont break the bank

Just as advertised. Work great. Sharpens all my knives gouges and V tools. I still use a flat strop but I use these wheels every 3-4 honings.
