Really cool toy!
This is a great set. It's very versatile and can be used with other sets from this brand. My one-year-old currently loves using the long magnets to pick up the balls. Maybe in the future he'll build with it! It seems like a toy that will stay a favorite for at least a few years, so it should be well worth the money! The magnets are just strong enough, and they're super safe -- they can't easily pinch those little fingers.

Good for kid's creativity development!
Products from SmartMax are so awesome. I, first, got it for my nephews and niece and the pieces are so light and the magnetic is strong so the kids can play around with it to build their own things. For the first time I got my niece the horse and trailer series. She loves it so I got this one to give her more fundamental pieces to play with. She is only 2 year old baby but still loves to play around with it. I highly recommend it!

Well built. The particular kit is probably more suitable for kids younger than my 4 yo. The limited number of parts that came with this kit didn't capture his interest for long (less than a week). He is more interested in Legos, recently switching from Duplo to Junior. I will probably get an extension kit for this at some point.

Loved by my grandkids.
String magnets that hold when building. Tried cheaper versions of this by different company but their magnets were not strong enough so they wouldn’t hold their shapes. This product is far superior. Gave to me 4 year old to share with his one year old sister and they both love it.
