Little Wigwam Alphabet Placemat

There are a lot of ABC placemats out there, but I like this one the best of those I have seen. It is colorful, shows the letters in both lower and uppercase, and shows a simple image for each letter. We talk with my 2.5 year old sonabout the letters and images during dinnertime, which I think is helping him to learn his letters. It is also a good thickness, wipes off easily, and the colors do not scratch off (like some other cheaper placements I have encountered). I am very pleased with this purchase.

I love this so does my GB. It's a great learning tool to use and teach while eating her meals.

Exactly what I was looking for: sturdy and entertaining for my toddler. He loves to point to pictures and play eye spy with me while eating meals or doing crafts. This mat does not replace my silicone mats I actually use for meals or out at restaurants... due to its stiff slippery plastic material. It’s great for home crafts or play dough projects or simple educational and entertaining purposes, due to the letters and correlating pictures. I’ll definitely be buying the numbers mat.

This is perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. It’s durable and easy to wash and he loves matching the pictures to the little ones in the side! I will def be buying more of this brand.

My 2 year old loves this placemat. It’s a great way to practice letters while he eats. It’s thick-ish plastic so does feel sturdy. Cleans well with water, but if you use antibacterial wet wipes too vigorously, the color comes off of the mat. Otherwise a great deal for the money.

This placemat has plenty to look at and is a great distraction for my 2 year old while I shovel food into his mouth. He loves pointing out the objects and then finding the little matching object along the border. We work on "Big" and "Small" that way. One thing he doesn't pay much attention to is the letters, and his fascination with letters on anything else is kind of why I chose this placemat! I think it's partly because there are both upper and lower case letters, and that idea is beyond him at the moment. (We have the ABC Animals Placemat from Tot Talk also, and that one REALLY gets him going on letters!) There is so much to look at on this placemat that he doesn't get bored, and we certainly don't need the TV on during meals! My complaint as the person who maintains this placemat is that the design scratches off easily. I have to be careful to use a washcloth instead of a dish scrubber when I clean it--it's much better to clean ASAP rather than letting, for example, oatmeal dry on it.

This product cut down on my cleaning times tremendously. Kids are messy eaters sometimes and it’s hard to “contain” the mess. This placemat has been very helpful for keeping the mess to a minimum and my daughter loves to wash it herself.

This is actually our second purchase of this exact placemat. The first one was still going strong after 2.5 years of daily use until we accidentally left it on a hot stove and melted it. Our son wanted us to replace the one we melted with the exact same placemat, which we were more than happy to do as the first one held up so well. Would definitely purchase from this company again in the future.

Having a 2.5 year old who was probably ready to leave his highchair, we thought about the chaos he'd likely cause to our placemats, so were on the lookout for a larger-sized mat which woudl keep his interest. He absolutely loves it. Each mealtime we get treated to a rendition of the "ABC" song, and the bright and colourful pictures keep him interested as he asks us to spell the words for the pictures on the mat. From out perspective it's easy to wipe and was shipped flat - meaning it wasn't bent or curved when we opened it. It's made of thick plastic rather than a plastic topped foam, so it should last well. Good product for a fair price.
