Fantastic Lightweigth Pole That Fits In A Rucksack
I bought this pole to use whilst trekking the 3 peaks (single pole as I was holding a dog lead in the other hand). I have to say I've been SO impressed. Very light, comfortable, certainly sturdy enough (take it from me it was really put throught its paces up Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon!) and folds up small enough to fit inside my 30 litre backpack. As for the assembly and disassembly ... I can't understand why all the negative comments on this, it is very, very easy - Trekrite even email you a video and send pictorial instructions. I just hold it upright, the sections then automatically slot into each other and then pull down the top section (clearly marked with the word "pull" !) until it clicks. Then just adjust to your required length as you would any other pole. To take apart just press in the silver button ... simples!Very highly recommended.Edit: FYI I'm almost 5'9" and I went for the smaller size and it was perfect.

Great hiking sticks
I purchased these hiking sticks as novice hiker and saw great reviews.I was not disappointed at all. The customer service was fabulous as I wasn't clear on how to assemble the sticks and reached out for assistance and they were accomodating. There's quite a few videos on YouTube which was helpful. I used the sticks at a recent hike and it did the the job. I would recommend it.

Light weight, 100cm, foldable and feels sturdy
Pros: One of the reasons I chose this pole was because it offers a smaller size (100cm~135cm), and most brands on Amazon are >=110cm. It is light-weighted, foldable, easy to put in my back bag, and feels sturdy (I haven't tested it in hiking yet). Cons: It took me a while to extend the pole as you need a bit of force to pull the click button out so the pole can be locked. I guess this will not be a problem for a man but for some ladies, we may need a bit time. (One pole feels easier to pull than another). I also had to figure out a good way to push the click button back, you have to pull the pole first and then push the button back otherwise it would be too tight to use the finger or thumbnail. The delivery was quicker than it said. Overall, happy with the product.

Ideal for travelling
I already have a pair of Treklite poles but they don't fold up very small and wanted some for travelling. These poles have comfortable handles and are lightweight and easy to pack, but no anti-shock spring as my other ones have. I had ordered two different pairs of poles from other suppliers - I didn't like them and one pair wasn't the right height. It was however very difficult to open them and to fold them up again due to a very stiff button. I rang the supplier who was most helpful and assured me it would get easier. I persisted and can now manage it. The parcel arrived quickly and the fact that I could ring up the supplier and had a prompt reply was another reason for buying these poles from this supplier.

Solid product, good seller.
Update 2/9/2021Having used these over several steep hills and some gravel paths and uneven grassy grounds, they are still going strong with no issues and have worked well for me. I recommend them to anyone as a really reliable basic set of walking poles. I am not a light person and these always feel solid in use and have helped me trek for exercise and I am glad I brought them.So these are my first walking poles and I ordered one to see if I liked it. immediately I liked the lightness and the materials felt good quality. I could not work out how to fix the sections at first and nearly sent it back however the seller phoned me and it became obvious that I just wasn't extending the top section enough and when I did that was it click and it was solid and secure, so just pull the pole until the bullet-shaped nodule clicks out and you won't have a problem. The sections are easily adjustable and fold small and fit into the bag very easily and the build quality installs confidence. I think for the cost they represent good value for money and I now have a second one to make the pair. I am happy that even with no proper experience of using poles, by doing my research and good judgment, I seem to have chosen a solid product from a good seller! I would say if you are looking for poles these are a good buy.

Study and value for money.
Make sure you follow the instructions for first set-up. I haven't been hiking with it yet. But practiced on stairs and feels very study. Thank you for making this so affordable.

Great quality and value for money
Used extensively on multi day expeditions in the Cairngorms, Lake District and Snowdonia, over the past 3years.Invaluable piece of kit for aiding balance, reducing fatigue, sharing the load.At 60g heavier and 1/3 of the cost of a Leki carbon pole, i can afford to keep losing/loaning these poles, and don't feel I'm compromising on quality.Light - Strong - SimpleEASY to setup - fail to see the problem that a minority have - user error.I like the absence of shock-absorbing nonsense - which I find disconcerting and wastes energy, and one less thing to go wrong in the mountains. All this and a British company - well done Trekrite and good luck!
