Adele turned slightly orangey
This lipstick glides on easily but very thick. It doesn't leave much room for error, as it's very very very pigmented. I tend to like a light application and put a gloss over the top. I definitely couldn't do that with this lipstick. It's all or nothing once I start to rub it across my lips. The Adele color is a pretty peachy color in the tube, but when applied, it looked somewhat orangey and crackey dry. I tried to dab it off to decrease the caked on look but this had stained my lips the moment it touched them. It stays FOREVER, for good or bad, so I was stuck with this look for the day.All in all, I may like this a lot better in a different color. If you like super thick and pigmented lip color, this won't let you down.

Good opacity for lip gloss
Because this is a gloss and the color is light (I chose "Debbie,"), I was expecting this product to be on the sheer side. However, it has a decent opacity for lip gloss. The color is sort of a nude/light coral. It is slightly lighter than the color of my own lips, yet one swipe of the gloss gives me nude/coral lips, hiding my natual color well. Notice I keep referring to this product as a lip gloss, because to me that's what it is. The company calls it a tint, but to me a tint is more like a thinner stain, and this s a thick gloss.Other features of this lip gloss include that it is smooth and moisturizing, gives a glossy finish, and lasts fairly well for lip gloss, though I would not exactly call it long wearing. It's more like it wears like a typical lip gloss. I also like that this light coral color mixes well with darker colors to tone them down a bit. I have a deep brown lip gloss that is just too dark for me, but adding a dab of this light coral shade does the trick.Overall a nice gloss in a pretty shade that would be great for people with pale skin, or anyone who wants a fresh look for spring, as "Debbie" is a light, pretty color.

“Adele” looks much more tan in real life…
I think this would be an awesome lip tint, but the color “ADELE” looks WAY different than I expected. When I chose the shade, the tiny picture of someone wearing it looked more purple-pink-nude; so, I expected a nice, pink-nude. It’s really tan, kind of muddy. I guess it’s a very close match to some of the nude shades Adele the singer wears! On me, I look washed out and sick. Has way too many orange and brown undertones. As a product it’s not bad! Love this line so far. The packaging/tube is nice, and the formula reminds me of something by NYX Cosmetics. Similar quality (I love NYX). This feels like some of their creamy lip butters and glosses. It does leave a light tint when wiped away, but looks creamy and shiny when freshly applied. I can totally change the look of this color by adding a richer, berry-toned liner and blending it together. It just needs more pink tones for me!TIP: This shade works well for creating a 3D volumizing affect or ombré look. Use a richer color all over, then apply this just to the center of your bottom lip and smack your lips together to blend. Lips look instantly fuller! 👄Hope this helps. 🤗

Glossy, shiny tint
So I wasn't sure what to expect with this. What is a tint, anyway? So many brands have different definitions of how a lip tint is defined. So in Carter Beauty, I believe this might be defined as being, not precisely a gloss, or a matte, or a regular lipstick. It certainly wasn't like any "tint" I'd ever experienced, which usually means a sort of transparent matte. This lip tint ended up being a glossy, long-wearing pigment. I'm not too sure why it's labeled "tint", as it seems it might be better labeled "gloss," but I'm unsure of the vagaries of labeling. Instead of gently tinting my lips with a slightly matte finish, it added a glossy sheen that lasted a fairly long time. It looked pretty good, but I'm not sure that I'd label this a lip tint. If you want a nice gloss, this is great. However, calling it a lip tint might be a stretch.

"Meghan" is an intense, deep purplish berry
This lip tint in "Meghan" is a gorgeous, intense deep berry shade that leans more purple than red. 1 swipe gives an intense shade, and 2 swipes deepens the color. This can be blotted and sheered. It does wear off with eating & drinking. But it also stains the lips, so I still had a nice wash of color after a while. It feels light and smooth. Not drying like matte lipstick, but I didn't feel it was especially moisturizing either. It does settle into cracks and chapped lips, so exfoliating is a must prior to applying this.
