Good for a triathlon
Got these for a triathlon sprint that had a steep, concrete path up to transition and I wanted to protect my feet (the path last year was littered with rocks and other small sharp things). These did great up the steep hill and were a good protector. In prolonged swims, since they are not tucked into fins, these feel like they are sliding off but they never did - just a sensation from the sock finally filling with water. I don't think there was significant drag but I say it was worth it anyway just because I wasn't wincing and stopping from stepping on rocks.

They don't fill with water
I would not use these for beach walking, but they are perfect to protect my feet from sharp rocks as I enter and leave the water. They keep my feet toasty warm even in 57 degree water, and they fit tightly so they don't balloon up and slow me down.

Very comfortable and ergonomically designed.
Worth every dollar!Great design having the seams located on the outside. They fit snug. So I wear a plastic bag, which make them slide right on. I'm not worried about them slipping off, because I then put my wet suit on over the socks. Also, I no longer have to wear 'glide' on the ankles to get the wet suit over my ankles.I don't really notice I am wearing the socks. To extend the life of the socks, I still have flip flops by the shore line, to avoid too much wear and tear.Enjoy!

Love these booties
Love these booties! I typically am size 7 (Born size 6.5, Brooks running 7.5) and purchased these to wear when open water ocean swimming in winter. Last season I borrowed some from a friend, which sold me, and they were a little large. Checked sizing and ordered size small. They are snug as they should be and fit well. I don't notice any drag. I've worn them a few times now. Nice toasty feet on my New Year's Day swim, water temp c. 60 degrees.

Great swim sicks that stay put and provide added warmth
These swim socks exceeded my expectations. They fit exactly as expected. Some people complained that they were hard to get on, I did not have that problem. They go on just like a wetsuit would. The biggest benefit is that they stay on your feet when you swim without fins on. My feet were noticeably warmer when I was swimming in 60 degree water.

If you have large feet (12. 5") you will ...
If you have large feet (12.5") you will spend more time trying to put them on rather than actually training. The description says 8 - 14 but there is almost no chance a 13 or 14" fits in these. They need to make an extra large. I am normally cautious of even socks that state wide size ranges because they never fit.

They are keepers!
These fit well, protect well, do the job. The external seams looks a little odd, but are comfortable. I wore both these and the Blue Seventy socks and frankly don't prefer one over the other necessarily. The Blue Seventy are a little more conventional looking and have a water "seal" toward the cuff... very minor nit picks.

These are the best accessory for keeping you warm
I love my neoprene socks, not only do they keep my feet warm in the cold water, they also protect me from stepping on something sharp or something that may be moving in the water. These socks are a must!! They fit very well too!
