To all of the naysayers, I will say this: To the uninitiated when it comes to latex balloons, learn how to tie the neck! If you never learned this trick as a child, I have no words. I learned how to tie balloons when I was 6!If you CAN NOT tie the neck, tie an old shoe lace around it! Piece of string, something.Next, to all of you idiots who don't know about the current GLOBAL Helium Shortage, I say this: Switch to Hydrogen! Just don't smoke around the balloons. Helium in today's tanks are cut with 20-30% compressed air! And, since most party stores that rent these tanks don't make sure of what they are getting. Unless you're a hospital that needs the helium for the MRI machine (They use Liquid Helium to cool the magnets), chances are, the tank will be about 30% normal air...And, finally, FILL THE BALLOON!!! These are 36" 35gm weight balloons! They are extra thick which makes them tough and durable (for a Balloon!). But it does make them heavier than most, so you really have to fill them to their fullest. Don't worry, you'll have plenty of warning before you over-do it. When the neck starts to bulge out, stop filling it. You'll find that it'll float this way for about 4-6 hours.Mike, the Balloon Expert...

I gave a pack of five pink 36” balloons to my five year old granddaughter. She’s really rough with her toys. These held up beautifully. They’re not hard to inflate, but they hold a lot of air. A pump is a plus. They are not very transparent, since the rubber is quite thick.
