Charades Men's Elf Warrior

Bought for my 11 year old to Cosplay as an elf warrior (certainly not Link©, if that's what you were thinking....) at Rose City Comic Con. The description says comes with Tunic, Belt, Boots, Hat and Arm Guards. I got nothing that I would justifiably call Arm Guards. But we loved the Tunic so much, we didn't worry about it.The tunic is surprisingly well made. Anyone familiar with Halloween costumes is probably familiar with the general lack of quality, this is what I was expecting. But the tunic and hat are nicely made, and will hopefully be able to serve a couple of his younger brothers with some care.The boots are your standard cover up costume things. The belt will definitely need careful handling to survive past the con and Halloween.You'll need a long sleeve undershirt and some leggings, and if you're really into it some elf ears, and a sword/shield to complete the costume. But it's a really nice base piece to get your Elf Warrior (certainly not Link©) off the ground

First off, you'll need your own pants and long shirt, as this does not come with those items. This only comes with the tunic, hat, gauntlet covers (or whatever they're actually called), the belt/baldric, and boot covers. (Sidenote: the hat is longer than I expected it to be!)Everything's been great, save for one thing. The boot covers aren't exactly the best, and the straps at the bottom for keeping the covers in place with your shoes came apart while I was trying it on. They feel pretty tight on my calves as well. (Then again, I do have some big calves for my size...)Also a minor thing, the gauntlet covers and the belt/baldric are fabric, which shouldn't surprise anyone. For my purposes, I needed a stronger belt/baldric, so I ended up making my own out of spare belts.But yes, this is a great base for a Link costume. It may need some work, but it will look amazing! I ended up taking a star away for the boot covers, but everything else is good, especially considering the price! (And just in case for reference, my height is 5'5", athletic build)

HIYYYYYA! Suit up as Link and get ready to save Princess Zelda and Hyrule from Ganondorf's terror. Although this costume is cheaply made and over priced (I bought it during the month of October for about $60), this was truly great base for an awesome Halloween costume!!! Equipped with a Hylian shield  Legend of Zelda Link Hylian Hyrule Triforce Foam Shield LARP  and a master sword http://www.amazon.com/Video-Game-Triforce-Hyrule-Sword/dp/B00TRBSE2E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451353280&sr=8-1&keywords=hyrule+foam+sword, I was instantly recognized as Link. Everyone wanted to take pics of me as I rode my skateboard (Epona) through down ft lauderdale screaming HIYYYYYA!.The Costume (green tunic) did run a little large (I purchased a size medium and am 5'9'' 170lbs athletic built) and the tights and undershirt are NOT included. I end up purchasing Take Five long sleeve compression shirt and leggings  New 004 Take Five Skin Tight Compression Base Layer White Running Shirt Mens S - 2xl (M)  and  New 016 Skin Tights Compression Leggings Base Layer White Running Pants Mens (M) . This costume is very basic and incomplete!!!To complete the costume, purchase: a sword and shield, blond wig, tights, long sleeve shirt, and elf ears.

I would have liked if it had a 2X size or a 3X size either which way it was a good costume I was able to represent my favorite character from a video game with it so it really wasn't that bad.

This worked really well for the Link costume I was assembling.However, you shouldn't really just order this and call it a day, you'll also need a pair of pants and a shirt to wear under everything, as well as a pair of fingerless gloves if you want to look more legit. Adding some filling to the hat is also a good idea for it to look more like the real deal, I used cotton, the kind that's used for fake snow decorations, and it worked perfectly. You might also want a real belt, because the one that comes with the costume sort of reaches just below my chest. For context, I'm 5,11, and I ordered the Large size, a real belt is worth getting to get a better fit out of it. I am 155lbs 5'9", 32 Waist, 38-39 Chest, average build. Small was the best fit for me, I initially ordered a medium and it was way too large. You will also need to provide your own long sleeve to wear under the tunic, and pants.Overall the stitching and material quality is pretty good, the elastics used on the bracer and boot covers could be better, and stitched on more securely.Just a heads up, the return policy is a bit odd. I was required to fill out a 2 part form which require a credit card information to be included for shipping fees. Customer service response was quick and processing time is reasonable.

I am honestly super happy with the quality of the hat and top. I got this as a costume for my boyfriend at ren Faire. I got him an extra large and the top and hat fit. The arm bands were a little too big for his arms and he didn’t try the shoe covers on, but a great start to a Link Costume. The Material was Heavier than I expected. I ordered a pair of pants that I am still waiting to arrive. I can’t wait to see the whole outfit together.

It was overall a very good product, good quality, good stitching and good accessories.Main critiques however:- better grieves for the arms, perhaps faux leather if possible- pants and undershirt (I know no costume EVER comes complete, but it would be nice to at least have the option to buy the pieces shown in the preview from the same company)Other than this, great costume and did me well, will reuse it,
