Monster High Create-A-Monster Vampire and Sea Monster Starter Set

We bought several of these Monster High (MH) kits for my daughter's birthday party. We put them together for the guests. They loved them! Everyone got an MH gift (which was really cute because everyone bought a doll for my daughter). We had enough kits left over for my daughters to enjoy them, too. We bought them on sale before Christmas for nearly half price! They were a great deal and a lot of fun! This one was my daughter's favorite! Thank you!

When I purchased this toy, it looked as though you were getting two dolls and I know I should have read the description but I paid $100 so I assumed it was two. The sea monster AND the vampire. So why is there only one hair piece? So my kid can only play with one at a time? For 100 dollars? My kid gets 1 build-a-doll for 100 dollars.. that just doesn’t sit right with me. I could have boughten her at least 3-4 new monster High Dolls for that price.

My daughter loves these create-a-monsters. The pieces snap together fairly easily and you can mix and match with other create-a-monster kits purchased. My only complaint is the hair piece. The hair/wig falls out when touched and it would be nice to have two wigs in the kit, considering you can build two different monsters. But, my daugther hasn't complained. Lots of detail and cute clothes in the kit too.

My daughter was given this for her birthday to go with the Monster High Create a Monster morph coffin. She loved having extra people to use the tattoos and colors on and really enjoyed it. This item shipped fast and was $10 cheaper then I could find in stores. I am extremely happy with this item.

The vampire is kind of plain looking. The sea monster is adorable. Only one wig and it's hideous so my sea monster had to go bald but I think she's adorable with no hair anyway. But that's me. The overall quality of these Create-A-Monster kits is always kind of low. I hated the clothes they came with so I bought my own fashion pack from a Bratz doll and dressed my sea monster in that. It's kind of big on her but looks way better than the clothes included. The sea monster has cute little tentacles on her wrists and fun fins. I love her. I wish the vampire was just as unique/cute.

DD age 11 loves Monster High. I ordered this set to complete her collection of the Create a Monster dolls. She has been playing with it daily since Christmas and we have had no problems. DD can be VERY picky about her toys and I often hear complaints about how a toy works. The ONLY complaint she has had about the Create a Monster is the fact that there is only 1 torso in each starter pack. We bought both started packs and 3 packs of add on parts and with a whole shoe box filled we only have 2 torsos. I know at some point I am going to be forced to repurchase this started pack so she can have a 3rd torso. I think the torso's should be sold seperately or they should give you multiple in the started packs!

I've had the most pleasant of surprises because my daughter found it extremely easy to assemble and play with these dolls. She loves them andeven my smalller kid plays with them with little fuss. I am pleasantly surprised about the product quality and really thankful about all the fun it promises to bring my daughter

Subject line says it all. Received Dec. 22, 2012 but the ones in the stores for a few bucks more have two torsos. I didn't notice when ordering or I would not have got it.
