Varzi is a small Lombardy town of little note except for this wonderful culinary jewel. Unlike its fellow Lombardy salami, the Milano, the Varzi has a coarse grind and spiced notes of nutmeg and clove. Otherwise, the Varzi has a very delicate and approachable flavor that can work on a sandwich or on an antipasto plate. The collagen casing gives it a uniform shape making it easy to peel and slice. The peel is not edible and you should take care to remove it completely before slicing.

Best salami!!
We are big charcuterie eaters and we have been looking to find products without nitrates and msg. Creminelli does just that and this Varzi salami is delicious. You don't need a deli slicer just a well sharp knife. We love it,delivery was fast and very well packed. Thank you will be ordering again and again.

All i can say is this is absolutely the best salami i have ever had.Its a large stick so i gave my son and my best friend some and they totally agree with me.

I am , Italian, from Voghera, just 15 miles from Varzi , I sliced it, without care of the label, cause the first bite, remind me taste while I was younger, and ......surprising....made in Utah?????? Amazon, or who deal for you, I absolutely need the shake the hands to who made this..... unhelievaable
