The adhesive was very good and these are thick pads, but very pliable. They went in very easily and my speakers sound great. I installed them in a 2008 Dodge Dakota.

Super thick foam, almost like memory foam used for beds. Great adhesion, great quality. Gives mids great bass, and putting the foam behind helps absorb sound behind the speaker. Increased volume and directional focus as well. Totally recommend to any install.

The foam quality is good. It is a 3M adhesive back foam product cut to the exact size of speakers. The midbass improved noticeably. Earlier to this the bass from door speakers was sounding muddy. After installing these, the midbass got cleaner. I do not know why speakers companies do not include these with speakers.

Surprisingly. This works better than I expdcted. Used on a 2011 Lexus GS. It definitely helps isolate the sound in the doors and bass has gone up to where I had to reduce the output. I do wish the paper that covers the adhesive peeled off in sections rather than the hole thing coming off. It doesn't fully cover the outside of the speaker so the adhesive on the outer section of the ring is exposed and will probably get dust and such stuck to it. Will def buy this again

They feel a bit like heavy memory foam. I wasn't too worried about the main center pad that sticks to the door, but the ring that goes around the speaker had me worried... it wasn't founded, these things are incredibly sticky, just pushed the rings on after screwing down the speaker. My door panels went on over them no problem.

I just did my first vehicle speaker upgrade project and came across these while looking for gasket tape. I decided to try them out based on the reviews and the price. I'm not an audiophile by any means but I do think this helps direct the sound better into my vehicle and I'm happy with the results. Installation was very easy.

I was replacing my old speaker with new after market speakers. I had used Road Kill Fast rings and it worked like a charm. However, I decided to give these a try. The Road Kill Fast rings did not stick as good and also was not as good of material as the Sponge Fast kit. However, for what ever reason the front Foam piece for the Sponge fast kit would not fit on the front of my new speakers of the same size and also they were too wide for my Door Skin. I ended up leaving them off because of this.

The Density of the foam is perfect for what it does . I am glad they used 3M glue to stick it on as 3M make the best glues for auto moldings and tapes. My only complaint would be for my application it could have been 1/8 thinner on the ring as my door panels didn't want to snap in place and stay in place. But this is a universal material.
