This controller is great--comfortable to hold, works great, and the price is right. Setup is pretty simple, just be sure to read the instructions carefully. It took me a little while to figure out I needed to change the system settings so that Pro controller wired communication is turned on. The only complaint I have is that the B button sometimes hurts my thumb when playing platformer games. I usually lay my thumb across B and Y, so I hit the B button using the middle part of my thumb around the joint. The buttons are easy to push, but they require enough force that I have a sore thumb from playing and hitting B over and over. This may just be a personal issue though--depends how you hold the controller and position your fingers. The controller is also still a little new, so the buttons will probably loosen with more use. Overall, I am very pleased with this controller and might buy another soon.

It is a nice, comfortable controller. It looks better in real life than the pictures here on Amazon, if you care about that at all. I have weak hands because of a stroke but this feels much better and is easier to use than the joycons. It was also easy to pair, I just plugged it in with the included usb cable and it instantly paired. Overall for about 20 bucks I think I got my money’s worth and I’m glad I didn’t have to spend 3x the amount for the pro controller. The first day I had it I was able to hold the home button to wake up the switch, but then it stopped being able to do that again for some reason. Otherwise it’s a good controller for the price.

What makes these controllers a great buy:- Price - they are 1/3 the price of Nintendo's branded pro controllers, my kids break everything, I'm not paying $60 for the pros when 3rd party controllers work just fine and cost way less.- Feel - they have some weight to them, they aren't heavy at all but they are more substantial than "cheap feeling". They have that "solid" feeling.- Battery life. I don't know what's with Nintendo and their terrible battery life but these controllers hold a charge all day and into the next. They charge quickly with the usb bricks we all have piling up in a junk drawer.- Gameplay. We bought these because our joy-cons have the drift problem, plus they are tiny and terrible in the first place. These pro style controllers hold and respond exactly how you want them to. I only wish we bought them the day we bought the Switch...What could be better about these controllers and why 4 stars instead of 5.- Pairing. We bought 2 controllers, one paired eventually wirelessly and one didn't want to after multiple attempts, leading to frustration. Giving up and plugging it into the dock with the included short charging cable paired it in seconds. They both function properly while playing.We'll see how these endure the test of time but holding the product in my hand and using it daily they are fantastic so far.

My last controller finally started drifting and I just restarted BOTW so I needed one right away! The grips are not plasticy feeling, and the toggles on it work great so far! The battery seems to take forever to run out, I'm on my switch around 2 hours a day and I only charge it about once a week.And you can wake up your switch with the controller! Just press the home button, not the big button in the middle. Initial set up took a little while and I wish there were cooler colors but that's my only complaint. After the first time my switch now recognizes it immediately and I've had no problems since. I'll update if I start to have any issues!

Wow what do I say? I only ordered this to avoid shipping charges. I really was not going to use it. I had 6 months before ordered a different Switch controller that I thought would be the world's greatest controller. I was wrong. I opened both and set both up. It was a little hard, since the instructions are in Chinese. It had to be plugged into the Switch's dock. It doesn't really show you that it is connected once it is done. I haven't tried this too much, but it does not turn the Switch nor the tv on, like a Nintendo controller will. Am I the only one out that, that if I use the Joyce, it turns both on for me. That is awesome. But anyways. 2 amazing things about this controller. It feels really good in the hands. It feels of quality built and parts. The buttons are really good and the directional pad is really responsive. Wish the trigger buttons worked a little bit better. I do love Xbox triggers. And here is the BONUS feature, which I dont want to promise to everyone. There was a card in the box from the manufacturer that thanked me for the purchase and it said it was a buy 1 get 1 free. There was not code etc. So, I scanned the qr code and sent an email. That's right the company emailed me back and did in fact offer me another one for free. Never charged me nor asked me to pay for shshipping. I know it is coming from China....sooooooo...maybe in 3 months I will get it. I do have a tracking number that I watch daily. There were 3 choices, but 2 were already sold out. But a second controller for free???????

Had just received the controller and played with it briefly for a few hours. I'll come back to update my review as time passes, but my experience with it thus far is overall very positive.The overall packaging is neat and tidy, pairing with the Switch was seamless and it feels really nice in your hands. Definitely exceeded my expectations given its budget price tag. Only nitpick I have is that the "+", "-" buttons feel a little bit too small, but it's just a minor comment.As I only just bought this, I can only hope that there's no drifting or other connectivity issues down the road (at least not too soon). I only considered getting new controllers because my joy-cons have been drifting, to the point where it happens frequently every minute. After reading comments about the official pro-controller potentially having drifting issues as well, I looked for a cheaper alternative and found this.
