Leecraft JT-7 Zero Clearance Table Saw Insert (For Jet/Laguana)(Colors May Vary)

Overall I am happy with my purchase and would buy again. It is a big upgrade over the factory insert in my eyes for three main reasons: 1. it has adjustment screws so you can get it flush with your table top and tight side to side and left to right; 2. The riving knife slot is closed in the back, so it is much more ridgid than the factory unit and stays flush with the table top; 3. Because of 1 and 2, it provides a zero clearance fit to the blade. The only downside to the unit is that the factory blade guard can no longer be used with the blade raised all the way up, because the splitter the guard attaches to interferes with the closed slot opening. However, I view this more of an issue with the saw design itself: Jet designed the insert slot so close to the blade in the rear, that this interference is unavoidable with a closed slot in the insert. I plan to grind down my blade guard splitter to get the necessary clearance. My saw is a 2015 model, so maybe this issue has been fixed on newer saws.

Right out of the package it fit on my tablesaw and then I turned on the tablesaw in a safe manner and cut the slot which made it fit perfectly. I recommend this product because I’ve used it before and it worked perfectly as well. Don’t hesitate buy it.

Solid, easy to adjust and fits well in Laguna Fusion table saw.I've purchased two of these (one for full kerf and one for thin kerf blade).Pros:- Seems very durable- Low friction surface- Good fit fore/aft and side-to-side when adjusted with included screws- Up/down fit is pretty good with a screw at each corner- Reasonably priced- Performs well once adjustedCons:- The tow hook tabs at trailing edge of insert aren't tall enough to fit snugly against underside of saw table. Easily fixed with some rubber feet glued to tabs to make up for the slack. This is probably a necessity since every saw top will be a little different in its up/down dimensions.- Slot for riving knife isn't centered with my saw. Could probably readjust entire table top a millimeter or two to the right but it's easier to open the slot a little to the inboard side to gain some clearance.- Doesn't come with hole/pocket to screw down insert at leading edge. It was simple enough to drill a hole and countersink where needed.I wish you could choose the color, but I know that's being REALLY picky. Overall, I don't feel the need to look any further if I need another insert for the saw.

I am very pleased with this insert. It was slightly too long for my Laguna Fusion but, a couple of minutes with my finishing sander took care of that. It fits perfect now! It is a big improvement over the piece of crap Laguna provides which is hopelessly warped out of shape. This is much heavier/thicker and looks like it will remain flat. It has the four leveling screws plus a screw on the end and a screw on the side to adjust for a slight friction fit to prevent any vibrating or rattling around during use. Laguna Fusion owners just need to unscrew and remove the original insert hold-down screw. I am going to order the JT-8 dado insert soon!

This insert was a great replacement for the flimsy stock insert in my Laguna Fusion tablesaw. The main issue with the stock insert is lack of support at the trailing edge of the cut, where the insert just basically falls into the table. This one supports the blade all the way around.Setup was very easy. Only addition I'd add to the included directions is that you'll have to remove the riving knife to make the initial cut. After the initial cut the riving knife or splitter can be reinstalled and used as normal.The color I received was dark gray, almost black.

The stock insert is actually pretty good and you really don't need this part. If you do buy this it fit like a glove so you can keep you OEM part for a spare. I was over anxious when buying this saw and wanted a perfect set up. But if your not happy with the original insert this one is solid piece and simple to set up.

Works well on my Laguna hybrid saw. Flatter than the OEM insert.

I bought this for my Laguna Fusion saw and it is a big improvement over the flimsy plastic OEM insert. There is no flex at all on either side of the blade.Laguna users will need to cut the pocket for the rear hold-down, and shorten the rear adjustment screw. Otherwise a perfect fit.
