BDI Mirage 8227-2 Triple-Width Cabinet

5 stars for the Beautiful piece of furniture and $400 cheaper than going through Best Buy where I discovered it. Comes already built within the box and is well worth every dollar! Great ventilation systems so my gaming consoles don't overheat. ports & velcro to reroute & keep the wiring in place. Also the windows on the front are very tinted yet remote accessible and even for gaming sensors. It has a high gloss finish. It fits my 65" TV & sound bar perfectly. Aside from the product the bad... A week after purchase which I can understand it possibly was being manufactured the money finally appeared to be withdrawn from my account. Which leads me to CEVA shipping or the process in general. I didn't have the option of setting my own delivery date as they set it for me where I couldn't plan ahead and take off in such short notice. I called to reschedule and was denied and they also stated that I have to be there to sign for it which is understandable with how much it costs. I live alone so I got a friend to be at my home based on this. They were supposed to call ahead of time to let me know they were going to be there soon. No call. Had my friend not caught them getting back in their truck they would've left it on the end of my driveway on a pallet and drove off without a signature for anyone driving by to take. They did reluctantly carry the 200 lb piece in so I'll get them a point for that. Please beware or take extra measures during the shipping process as far as reaching out to them first or immediately before they can do anything!

This cabinet is built better than any of the others I looked at locally. While it is a bit pricey, it is well built and solid. The black glass top is a fingerprint magnet, but easily wiped clean. I have a 65" LG CX on top of it and it looks great. The A/V receiver and HTPC fit nicely inside behind the smoked glass doors, along with the TIVO, ROKU and BR player and still room for more. As others have pointed out, BDI's delivery carrier leaves a lot to be desired. The shipping box is clearly marked 'This side up' . The box was placed on my front porch on end. And even though I was supposed to sign for it, I caught the deliverers getting back into their truck to leave. They did come back and carry it into my living room and laid it on it's front side. Again, the box is clearly marked. I asked about signing for it was told it wasn't needed. Luckily the cabinet is well packed and there was no damage to the cabinet or the glass top.

This is a beautifully designed and extremely well made piece of heirloom quality furniture. I wasn't planning to spend this much money, but I had a tight space requirement and this was the only one that would fit. It is slightly less than 61" wide and fits in my space perfectly. It is worth the high cost.

This entertainment cabinet has been one of the most admired thing in my new home. It is sleek and beautiful, AND it is very functional. I did not place my TV on it; rather I hung my 65" LG OLED TV on the wall (with the wires in the wall) and put other related equipment in the cabinet.I would definitely recommend this cabinet. And I will buy it again when time comes to setup my media room.

This is the best suited stand for any flat screen large TV. I use it for my 65" Sony and they are matching perfectly . It is chic and enclosed with so many smart aspects to it to keep the equipment safe from dust but allow them to have air so they do not heat up. It also has attached taping material at the back to allow organising the wires and keeping them in place. The glass doors are soft and easy to operate. This is a must to have and I am so happy to have found it. The best part of this product is the ever so helpful and supportive seller and the fact that it comes all assembled.. I certainly recommend this product with no hesitation.

This BDI Mirage 8227-2 is everything that was advertised. It is a quality piece and well worth the money!

Expensive, but appears to be worth the price. Lots of configuration options. Bought it because it had the dimensions necessary to accomodate all my gear. Also looks great! Not like so many others out there that look like junk. Highs: Wheels! Looks Quality Lows: Price
