This is a great seal. Fits well and should last a lifetime. Really well made. It feels like EPDM. Buy it with confidence if you need a new seal gasket.

Great replacement in my mid size SUV
The weather strip was coming off in the trunk and I just ripped it off. I waited about a week debating if I should buy the manufacture product and pay almost $170. Good thing I found this. A fraction of the price and super easy to install. Start in a top corner and go around. That way it barely gets noticed. Easier to cut with a wire cutter.

Used to repair camper lid

Just what we needed to replace the missing seal from our Jeep hard top back window.
So this is sold as car door trim and it probably works great for that, but that's not why I bought it.We recently purchased a used hard top for our 2018 Jeep JKU. The top came without a rear window so we bought a window. But then realized there should be a seal between the top and the edges of the window because every time you'd close the rear window it would slam against the top. Afraid we might break it we went on the search for a replacement for the missing seal.My research led me to this. So we bought a piece to try it out.It's perfect. We ended up trimming about 10 inches or so off to make it the right length but it was easy to press onto the ridge on the top and completely took care of the noise and "slamming" issue. Our window is now protected and there's less noise or chance of water or mud coming in through the rear window.So if you came here with Jeep looking to replace the rear window seal (The seal around the top and sides, not the bottom one, that's different).. this is what you need.
