Useful for making VE direct cable where shielding is not needed
These fit the VE.smart ports as long as you are careful. They work for making a DIY VE direct cable. However, the wire is not shielded, so consistent data connections can be problematic for that useage. Otherwise, the work fine.

Used to create my own Victron VE.Direct cable
Soldered this cable to a corresponding USB to TTL cable to create my own Victron USB VE.Direct cable. Plugged into a Raspberry Pi running Venus OS and it works perfectly. It's not isolated so you don't use the power wire but it works. Saves a lot of money if you need a couple of these for your equipment. Now I can monitor my system using the Victron VRM.
