All in all this little dog looks pretty real. I had read other reviews and noticed that people were giving this to their dogs that are older and won’t chew up their toys . I have a 6 yr old shepherd and we recently lost our other K9 and we both miss her very much . I gave this to my dear dog realizing that the loss of our other k9 has affected us all. My dog immediately sniffed her new toy and relaxed and layed down next to it. She seems to be pleased with this life like dog replica. My hope is that this will help my K9 as we learn to live without our now dog angel. We have had this now for a week and the toy has not been torn apart as I figured knowing my dog. I definitely would NOT RECOMMEND as a dog toy for a chewing dog because it is definitely NOT a dog toy it’s not meant to be a dog toy at all. My girl just has grown out of chewing things other than dined and things that are meant to be dog chews and I have been letting her be with her ‘puppy’ only with my supervision. I do not wish to harm my dog just give her some comfort and mission accomplished-she loves this little realistic looking toy .

My dog loves this toy. I wouldn't leave her alone with it as the eyes could come out. She likes carrying it around and tossing it up in the air, even though it is just as big as she is. I also have the larger Beagle size which she really likes. Upon opening my dog kept sneezing until I washed it down with some water. Seems to be okay now. Pretty realistic face and eyes. Would be nice for elderly in a home also since it looks realistic and small enough for someone to carry or have with them in their wheelchair. Wish it would stand up better but the front legs are not sturdy enough so it falls over fairly easy--perhaps more stuffing would have helped for the front legs. This is not a soft cuddly dog--more on the stiff and nonsqueezable side.

Arrived tightly packed in clear plastic with instructions (on the bag) to shake ‘em out. Really look great and very soft.

I needed a stuffed dog to model the dog bandanas to make and sell. This dog is perfect. I bought the smaller version of this dog which did not work out for what I needed. At a quick glance it’s very realistic (too realistic). The head is foam and the Jody is soft.
