Seals well and vacuums out air really well. I used these to sous vide some carrots and asparagus. Unfortunately the biodegradable claim is misleading, as any such product has to be processed properly in order for them to biodegrade. Simply throwing it in the trash or in recycling does not mean it will biodegrade.

my family used quite few vacuum bags for sous vide or storage before because we are truly worry about the pollution caused by plastic bags. But now I don't need to worry about that anymore. I can use this biodegradable vacuum bags to storage my food and cook the delicious sous vide food. Thanks Vesta!

Over all I like the bags because I value that that are compostable. My only complaint is that they easily get punctured. It is not uncommon for a bag to get a hole after I put them in the freezer. I discover it when I place the meat in the fridge to thaw and find a pool of blood under the package.I use regular vacuum seal bags for items that need extra protection or I know I will be giving to others.

Although the price is a few cents more than the manufacturers bag, they actually work better than the original ones.

The presealed bag is useless, they all lost their seal.

I really wanted to like these bags, spent extra to get compostable. What a waste of money. Nearly half pop open at the seam, and half that pop open do so prior to vacuum sealing. It’s not worth the price when everything has to be double bagged.

At the beginning I just wanna give them a try. OMG these bags are over my expectation. They are same quality as food saver vacuum bags. They are nice and thick and hold a seal very well.

These are a great size and I love that they will break down in the landfill at the end of their lives.

I haven’t had great experiences with compostable ziplock bags so I was a bit sceptical of these.They’re excellent. I notice no difference in use between these and standard plastic seal bags.

Buste buone

The bags are very durable, but as some people reviewing have pointed out that they are not as durable as heavy duty plastic bags. Not a great idea to roll the top of the bag down. But for me, great, fine, i will work around it. It is the smallest of problems to have to reduce plastic waste.
