Tamarack Prosthetic Liner Patch with GlideWear Technology (Large, 2 Pack)

I just wanted to say that my experience with Tamarack and their product and their representative Mark was nothing but the very best outstanding in all ways I reached out to them to ask if I could possibly get a product made specifically a larger size for my application they did not hesitate a bit made me exactly what I wanted and it worked out perfectly anybody dealing with a loss of a limb that needs protection for the end of that limb their product is perfect and these people will be there for you always can’t say enough good about them and Mark he’s a fantastic human being and a great person to be your advocate!

I didn't like this product because I only received the Medial. I paid 36 dollars for 2 pieces of Medial Cloth. Everything else was not there. Waste of money that I don't have to lose. Don't buy it.

I’ve been wearing a prosthesis since I was 18 months old, and have used an ICE-ROSS (roll on silicone socket) for 30 years now. This type of socket works because your skin sticks to it so the prosthesis doesn’t fall off - it forms a good contact between the residual limb and the prosthesis. Since it is smooth (unlike a wool sock), it’s less likely that the skin will break down. But if you have scarring and thin skin, the socket can pull the skin and it will break down as it transfers the shear forces from the prosthesis to your skin. This simple product lets the socket slide over the skin where it’s applied. It is not padded, so it doesn’t interfere with the prosthetic fit. It is good for patches - if you wore a sock made of this material, the prosthesis would fall off.It’s possible to wear a thin blister bandage under it, if needed. It dries quickly so you can hand wash it and have a clean one everyday.

I recently was upgraded to a new set of 2 prosthetic legs (bi-lateral BKA). After a couple of hours, I could no longer walk because of friction pain in one leg. I went online and found the patches. They are simple to use and have completely eliminated the pain. I wear one large patch every day and no longer have any friction pain problems.My prosthetist had never heard of the patches, but does now. Thanks from both of us.

I looked at the advertisement wrong. I thought I was getting something to slip over my prosthetic leg to insert a pad to protect my knee. I got two pieces of material that are not padded for $37.00! I would not advise anyone to buy. I have cancelled the order but realize I do not have a store to return them to so need to cancel the return and just "eat" the cost.

I was super skeptical about this after reading some reviews and my life-long experience of losing skin - like, how could one patch actually fix this problem?? Well, IT WORKED!! Seriously. I had ordered it to go on my 2-week hiking vacation and almost didn't get it in time, but luckily did. It totally worked; I didn't lose layers and layers of skin and I was able to walk/hike/etc. my entire trip! Pretty amazing since sometimes I can't even walk down the block without losing all of the skin just under my knee (top of prosthetic) and am then limping for days on end.

These patches work great but honestly the price is way to high for to very then straps of fabric. Stop over charging folks who HAVE to have these items

THIS PRODUCT IS AN OVER PRICED PIECE OF CLOTH. IT BUNCH UP ALMOST MADE ME FALL. HURT . Never NEVER AGAIN. I HAD ON NO MORE THAN A COUPLE OF MINUTES HURT SO HAD TO TAKE IT OFF. DOES NOT DO WHAT IT SAID.. I SENT IT BACK. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
