The preamps are absolutely silent even when driving studio-grade headphones and speakers. It has never dissappointed me. It has been completely reliable since I purchased 4 years ago. It has always worked exactly as I expected it to when using DAWs, electric guitars, and softh-synths in my studio. Their support site is also one of the most comprehense and easy to use I've ever encountered. Making vast amounts of technical information easy to navigate is a heavy lift. Steinberg manages to make it accessible even to newbies like me. Contacting their support team has also always been a truly professional-level experience. For the money I could not be happier.
