Perfect little journal to guide and encourage through the 40 week journey of pregnancy. I'm a grandmother now and only wish that this book would have been available when I was carrying my baby. Gives practical information and spiritual guidance each step of the way.

Love this book......I have recognized that the babies that have been prayed over are much calmer and at peace.... Highly recommend this book....

This book helps moms (and families) prepare for the arrival of their new baby. Each devotional focuses on the Spiritual aspects as well as physical of pregnancy and birth.

I got this thinking it was a different kind of devotional than what I received, especially since I was experiencing a lot of physical issues and constant worries during my pregnancy. I'm sure that someone has found this to be just what they needed, but I was looking for more I think. So I was disappointed and ended up shelving it early on.I went back to reading My Daily Bread devotional instead and found some comfort there. I will not recommend this to anyone else.

This book was wonderful! I looked forward to reading what was happening with me and the baby each week. It gave you a prayer on which to focus and it did not overwhelm you with information as some other pregnancy books might. I got one for my friend as well. I was looking for a Christian guide to pregnancy and I found it in "40 Weeks: Devotional Guide to Pregnancy".

I really enjoyed reading this devotional during my pregnancy... I had numerous baby books which I read, but this one gives a Godly perspective as it describes where you are week by week and how God is a part of it... I loved it!! I am also giving them as gifts to other first time moms.

Although sold at a reasonable price, this book was not what I was looking for..Information about the stages of pregnacy; but not total parallel lines of the church's slant on the project of motherhood.It will be given to my cousin who is very much like the author of this book- over kill by the church.BlaahL.C. After we found out we were expecting our first child earlier this year, we wanted to spend time seeking God, praying and studying the bible specifically around the topic of our child.While this isn't really a bible study, perhaps a little more than a typical 'daily thought' I guess, it is really useful and certainly the basis for further study.The point is really to get you to think about God, that He is in control and after only being a few weeks into the book it certainly has given us a deeper insight into how great Yahweh is! The book certainly illustrates that God is the God of details!I would certainly recommend this book as part of your preparation for parenthood!

I was highly inspired reading this devotional guide daily. I longed for a devotional book during my 1st trimester and a friend of mine recommended this book. It came in good time. I even bought one for my sister who is using it now and is very happy.Yes I'll recommend it to a friend

I found this book interesting and a good guide on what to pray on during the specific weeks. My husband & I used this book every week during the pregnancy and we enjoyed the whole time. i would recommend this book even if you just use it for the bible references.

Enjoyed the way the author used numerous scriptures to remind readers of God's plan and design where childbirth is concerned. Also enjoyed how each week focuses on specific things to pray about and be aware of. Great guide for those who are yearning for spiritual food during pregnancy.
