Help a friend in need
I purchased this for my friend/coworker. He is trying to keep his new sneaker soles squeaky clean. Also had it mailed to him at his brand new apartment! I was excited for him! He said that they protect the soles of your kicks. He is a smart and practical fellow.

Great traction
Wasn’t installed. Watch videos if you have questions. Because traction is built into it it’s a little thicker than others out there so curving around the contour from sole to midsole makes it a little tricky. Be sure to use a heat gun for installation. Worn sneakers 4 times and is still on. Even walked a good amount in Vegas and hasn’t come off.

Seems like a good idea but in reality…it’s not.
Do not buy. I thought this would be a good idea to keep my shoes clean and it made my shoes super slippery. I took the tape off and now my shoes are sticky. Dumb

So Far, So Good!
I don't own any Louboutins, Choos, or Blaniks, but I confess I've almost bought this product or something like it several times because I do like to take care of the shoes so they last as long as posslble. I hesitated to buy before, because I wasn't sure if it actually worked, so I'm grateful for the opportunity to finally try this. This has a very rough texture on the business side much like course sandpaper if it were made of vinyl. I think it will be very slip resistant but not rough enough to scratch your hardwood floors. I tried cutting around the shoe with an Exacto knife, but this is really thick vinyl, so I traced around the shoe then cut with scissors. I then peeled the paper backing off and placed the adhesive side on the shoe. I still needed to do some very careful trimming around the edges to ensure only the sole was covered. Any overhang would catch, dirt, etc. due to the adhesive. You only need to cover the portion of the shoe that will come in contact with the ground, so this sheet may do several pairs of high heels. In our city, we don't have access to a good, reliable shoe repair business, so I've been replacing removing and replacing my own heel tips when necessary. This shoe has such an odd sized heel, and I don't know if I'll be able to find a replacement tip for it, so I used a scrap piece to cover the heel as well, to see if it will be durable enough to slow down heel wear. The magic eraser included is just that like the ones from the cleaning products aisle, otherwise known as melamine foam. Use it only for cleaning the bottoms of your shoes; it's an abrasive and can take the finish and color right off leather if you're not careful. I'll come back and do an update after wearing these shoes several times to report on effectiveness.

perfect solution - Easy to apply, flexible, non-slip
This adhesive sole protector film is sturdy but very flexible. It is fairly easy to apply, only difficulty being one's own ability to cut and stick it right or not --just align it and stick it slowly and carefully after you marked and cut the film. It has a paper backing on which you can mark with a pen the outline of the shoe to cut the right shape you need, and it is easy to cut just with regular scissors. it does adhere firmly and I like that it has a rugged surface to make it non-slip. I have not rated durability yet, will see how they last with more use, bur so far, a perfect, easy solution and super convenient cost.

Works very well if put on correctly
If put on correctly with the use of a heat gun, they will adhere strongly. Durability is ok not great but it also depends on the pavement. Good product for the money spent. Highly recommend

Didn’t stick
Cut to size, pre heat w/ hot air gun, applied to sole, more hot air, tried to contour, no stick. Wish it was still returnable

Doesn't stick while wearing them, feel off during first wear.
I'm very detail oriented, and used a heat gun while applying. I made sure there was no gaps between the shield and shoe while holding it up to a light. Unfortunately, this didn't matter. I used it on Travis Scott Jordan 1 lows, maybe they don't work on 1's.
