Zotac Geforce GT 630 1GB Gddr3 64bit
This card is excellent for a 64bit interface. It is capable of playing most games out there with settings medium to high and that is very good for 64bit interface.Graphics are very crisp and clear, all in all very nice card and gets good WEI score.

Good specs at fair price
I'm not really a gamer, so can't say how well it functions for gaming. Functions fine, no issues after easy installation. Like that it has no fan, so it's very quiet. (may get hot without fan under gaming/stressed conditions)

Great card for the money
Got this card to replace a 5 year old NVidia GeForce 9600 that went bad. So far, I am very happy with the quality of the image rendering and the fact that it doesn't use a fan - this computer is dedicated for movie watching on a 40 inch Sony TV, and the old card was very noisy. The card runs at about 59-60 degrees celcius. One thing to keep in mind during the setup if you use a low profile bracket - the default is the VGA port, which you need to disconnect to install low profile bracket, but my motherboard VGA would be disabled when i plug in this card, so in order to use the display so you can see something and install the drivers, you need to use the VGA port on this card, and just have the wires hanging on the side, install the drivers, and then you can switch over to using HDMI.I am sure you could get a better card, but for $60 it is a very nice solution. Good mid-range card. If you are not a heavy game player, and just need a decent card that shows a quality picture, this one is definitely a good choice.

Bought it used and it's working great! Not a gaming video card
Bought it used and it's working great! Not a gaming video card, but we bought it just to power an HTPC to stream shows and it does that very well.

Not as listed - has DDR3 memory, not GDDR3
If the listing for this card had been accurate, I probably would have given this card four stars. On the other hand, I wouldn't have ordered it, so I actually wouldn't have given it any stars. As currently described (I've reported the error to Amazon customer service), this card is described as having GDDR3 memory. In fact, it only has DDR3 memory, which is significantly slower. As a result, this card will not deliver the graphics performance you would have expected from the description. However, if it was accurately described so that you knew what you were buying, it's not a bad card. It has a decent GPU for those who don't need intense gaming, and it has two major pluses which is why I originally ordered it.First off, there is no GPU fan - this card uses passive cooling from a oversized heatsink. If you are trying to build a "silent" system, this is a major advantage. While not small enough to allow you to use the slot adjacent to the video card (assuming normal spacing), the heatsink is noticeably shorter and thinner than I've seen in the past for passively cooled video cards, some of which were so large as to barely leave room for the second slot from the video card to be used. Having a smaller heatsink potentially can improve the airflow in your system, especially if you have a smaller case. And while you should be routing cables behind the motherboard instead of over it, for those cases that don't give you that option, a smaller heatsink is one less thing to snag stuff on while you're trying to connect point A to point B.Also, unlike many graphic cards in common use, this card normally only requires you to remove the filler for the PCIe video card slot instead of two fillers. While not that big a deal, if you're a tinkerer and needing to pop your video card in and out a lot, only having to deal with one screw and only having to line up one card plate tongue when installing the card instead of two is a minor convenience. This only applies if you have a normal height case. If you have a low profile case there is a low profile plate for the actual card with its HDMI and DVI ports, while the VGA port is mounted on a second plate that mounts into the slot that is in any case blocked by the heatsink. In this configuration this card would actually be a bit less convenient than a conventional double wide card, since you would have to deal with two separate plates and a ribbon cable. This card works well both with Windows and Linux (again, as long as you aren't running graphically intense games). If you are running Linux, you will have better performance if you download and install Nvidia's proprietary driver rather than using the generic driver that is included in most versions of Linux.Video from internet, DVD and Blu-ray plays back flawlessly, and I haven't had any problems with the display of 3-D "eye-candy". (Since I don't play any games, beyond user interface eye-candy, I don't have any experience with practical 3-D performance.)Long story short: as long as the performance limitations of only having DDR3 memory isn't a problem for you, you get a silent middle of the road non-gaming experience if you get this card.

Zotac Gforce GT 630 1GB DDR3
I originally purchased this card to upgrade from an 8400GS that only had 256Mb of on board RAMusing an ASUS M2V-MX SE motherboard however that machine wouldn't recognize it or even bootup at all so I initially thought the card was DOA and was going to return it but then decidedto try it in my GIGABYTE M61PME-SP2 and it works just fine with that motherboard. The passive heat sink is cute for just general purpose computer use However if you're going to gameor anything else graphics intensive you'll need to look into improved cooling solutions becausethis thing will start cranking out heat. Lots of it in fact. WAY too much for passive cooling.Mind you, the case I'm using this in has reasonably good air flow. Here's my torture test tempurature findings:Idle = 120°FSurfing random websites using "Firefox" = 130°- 140°FWatching an AVI video = 145°- 155°F. 1 hour duration.Playing "BIOSHOCK" = 150°- 175°F+. About 20 minutes of play at 1024X768, high settings.FPS stayed above 35 according to "FRAPS".Running "FURMARK" = 195°F+. Test aborted after 5 minutes to avoid meltdown.Average FPS = 12. Sigh.Granted. "Furmark" is a REALLY hardcore test for ANY graphics card. Most games don't getanywhere close to that intensity for any significant length of time.My tempurature readings were also averaged out from software measurements of variousprograms and separate readings done with my infrared therm-O-Magic measuring device.I had read mostly good things about ZOTAC products and so decided to try one.I'm glad that it was not DOA as I initially thought. Just incompatible with the MB I had in mind.Overall, If you just want a decent graphics card for general purpose use, surfing the web,E-mail, Watching videos Etc. you could do far worse than this card in this price range. If you're looking for a cheap gaming card.... I recommend strapping a fan onto it.The heat sink itself has lots of surface area but needs forced air if under continuous heavy load.Sorry ZOTAC, But the product is not perfect, therefore, 4 stars only.If it lasts longer than 1 year, I may upgrade my rating. We'll see what happens.SHWINK! ;)
