Excellent!I have a hp 19.5V model laptop. I needed a replacement charging cord. I have only used it this morning to reset my laptop to factory mode. I am very pleased that I have not had any issues (has not overheated; quiet; easy to plug in). I will provide another update in a few months.Great value for money!

It works perfectly and is a good replacement charger but the only issue is that it doesn’t charge while I’m using the computer I have to close the computer so it’ll charge. The charger doesn’t get hot or overheat. The length is a good length. It seems to be very durable for the time being.

It works so well for my computer and have not had any issues with heat. It is very light weight and durable. I do wish it was a bit longer but for the money it’s great!

Update: I sent a message to the folks at Athye, complaining that both laptop chargers failed after 3+ months and they stood by their 1 year warranty (asking me to send them pictures of the charger and of my laptop model# on the bottom of my computer, and upon receipt gave me a full refund). That's great customer service! See original problem below._____________________________________I bought two of these charging adapters to replace an adapter that my wife lost. Initially, both of the adapters worked fine but within 3 months the first replacement adapter began acting "flaky", sometimes not charging. I'd check the connections, take them apart and put them back together again tightly and it would work for a few minutes, then stop charging. The same thing happened to the second adapter a few weeks later and within 6 months both of them are useless. I had hoped to get a good buy but sadly, I just purchased a couple of cheaply made adapters. Durability is terrible.

This charger will not charge the laptop while I am using the laptop. It has to be sleeping or shut down. IT DOES NOT WORK.
