It's a rubber stopper for air hoses. Does what it is supposed to do.
The OE stopper on my automatic hose reel had, after 15 years of use in the Texas heat decided to give up. This was a perfect fit and easy replacement. The rubber stinks to high heaven like they all do, but it works so there is that... Bolts down as it should, stops the hose without slipping, not sure what else to say about it, it fits, it works. Time will kill this one as well just like all the others, but the alternatives are not a good option either...

Inside Dia is 11/16”. Great quality!
After going through about 5 pages of hose bump stops I found that there was no real good information about what size hose the bump stops will fit. Just because it says it will fit a hose with an inside diameter of 3/8” doesn't mean the outside diameter of all 3/8” hoses are the same. I took a chance on this one and it fits perfectly! I’m guessing it’s made here in the good old USA because there was no country of manufacturer on the package or the item plus the screws and nuts were 1/4-20 and of very good quality. Now for the good pertinent blue collar information. The inside diameter of the bump stop is roughly 11/16”, my heavy duty 3/8” ID air hose is 3/4” OD. That’s it, nice and simple. Look at the photos. I read many reviews and questions about these bump stops and none gave this simple information. I hope this review is helpful.

Not for garden hose, but maybe.
My intent is to drill it out to fit a garden hose. A regular garden hose stopper seems to be unavailable at this time. Being solid rubber, there seems to be enough material to drill it out to fit a 5/8" hose.
